Motel 6 Eureka

We went to the hotel got the room and it automatically smelt bad and we searched the beds like we do with every hotel; and there were hairs on the sheats and BED BUGS all in the mattress! So we got our money back and left and stayed at a new hotel. The staff their were nice about giving the money back however i will never go back or recommend this hotel to anyone! I do recommened no matter what hotel your in look at the sheets and mattress for bugs.

Did not feel very safe there. Don't expect any extras. There wasn't any shampoo or blow dryer available. Very basic and cheap. However, the price wasn't.

We were just traveling through on our way to Washington. We needed a stopover place to rest a bit. We would say that it was the worst motel we have ever stayed at. We requested non-smoking and we had to go through 2 rooms to find one. The one that we had even reeked with smoke. We had to leave the windows open in order to be able to go to sleep. The bed clothes smelled like smoke. My question is, why would they have an ashtray in a non-smoking room? We are heading back home from Washington and making sure we don't get near Eureka, Calif and definitely not near Motel 6. I will not recommend this motel to anyone. I am even afraid to try other Motel 6's in fear of having the same experience.

The hotel is run down, in my room #224 the carpet had worn spots, and other spots that I do not know what, the hem in the curtains was falling out and for a non-smoking room it reak of smoke. I stayed only because it was my daughter's graduation and every other hotel was booked for this weekend. I arrived on Thursday evening and by Saturday night the noise level was out of control. I complained to the front desk clerk [...] and he said there was nothing he could do. I would have to speak to the manager in the morning. I did, her name was [...] and as I did stating that the situation was very,"profanity word" she yelled at me that I was not to use profanity in front of her. I did apologize and she said she would work on getting me a quietier room. The day went on and I called just afternoon to see if the had another room for me a and [...] yelled again that because I had called the local police in reguards to the noise that She was asking me to leave-right then before she called the police to have me removed. I told her I haven't done anything wrong, I just needed to sleep! I did pack my things and left. Upon leaving [...] did give me a refund slip for the remaining night yet to this time today it has not been credited to my account so I will have to desput the initial charge to my account. Needless to say this had a huge impact on my "vacation" and good time with my daughter. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone-No, No and definity do not go to the Motel 6 in Eureka, California!Peggysue Sutherland

no frills at all, staff was friendly enough, wifi connection worked at first, but not later during our 24 hour purchase; no clock in room, bed was comfortable, quiet enough even tho we were right above the office

We attended a graduation.My stay would have been very enjoyable had the hotel been restful but I had to tolerate it because all the rooms were booked. I stayed at the Best Western before and it was excellent.

We had money stolen out of our room by the cleaning staff. We were charged for WI Fi when our room wasn't even a wifi room, however - they did refund the money to us in a friendly matter. We had to ask for wash clothes everyday because they didn't provide them. There was no hot water to take a shower for at least half a day. We did not have a good experience. We stayed one time before and didn't encounter any problems - but we won't stay again after this second time.

The room was about you would expect from a Motel 6. The room was clean but there wasn't enough towels. It totally lacked any amenities, i.e. shampoo, hair dryer, clock/radio, etc. There was no elevator to access the second floor making it very hard to get our things to the room. The location was convenient and had a restaurant next door. The room was hot and there was no air conditioning. I had to open the window to cool the room which made my wife feel less than secure. This room would remain as it was for us, a room of last resort.
