Where to begin... I was able to check in without any problem, however when I entered the room I was surprised to see pillows on the desk instead of the bed. To my surprise the bed was not made, was a mess as if it was slept and left as is. I went back to the office to mention this and was given an apology as well as a new room. I went to the other room sand noticed the door was difficult to close, the toilet seat had a few cracks and nicks that it appeared to be dirty. The t.v. had three buttons that worked. One was the power, the other to increase the volume only, and lastly one to change the channel, mind you, you should be able to change the channel up or down as well as the volume. On that note there was no remote to be found... Overall I was glad I only had to spend one night there.

Good for the price
When we first checked in the toilet wasn't flushing and the tv showed only static. I was getting ready to call the front desk when, to my surprise, they called me to check if the room was satisfactory. I informed them of the problems and they were very prompt in fixing both issues. The room was otherwise clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast had some bagels. pastries, eggs, and a few other basics. Overall, a pleasant stay for a reasonable price.

Nice for its price
The room was clean and the staff was nice they gave me a call to see if everything was good for the price I paid I think it was alright

Room Comfort. Look like at some point this hotel had a renovation not to long ago. I had a smoking room with a king size bed. but this size bed is way way to big for this room size. Old tv, Stand up shower? come on. and no ventilation in the bath room. very old A/C unit. that won't keep up with the room. Lock on the windows that i wasn"t able to remove. did i rent a room in a Jail. The room value is o.k. swimming pool not very well maintain. but yes i noticed that few people are working on this property to make it look o.k. right in front of my room in the parking lot was a dry big vomit that look like is been there for long time.

Short walk from hotel
there is few restaurants very short walking distance and all kind of stores and gass stations, well basicaly this hotel is located in Escondido Down Town. I wasn"t looking to stay in a hotel for any other reazons than relax after a very long trip and see some friends.
