Shabby but not chic
The towels were thin;the breakfast was paltry;the room faced the ice cream machine and so it lit up the room at night;the shampoo and conditioner smelled like cod liver oil. All in all, I would never stay there again.

Good Motel
The hotel was not to bad, for the price. The staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was ok, pastries, cereal, coffee, juice. There was a diner right next door, so that was convenient. Room quality was good, clean, and most important safe. The parking area was inclosed, so we felt our car was safe during the night. We don't have children, but there were a lot there and seemed to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. My favorite motto is you get what you pay for. This is true here. All in all it was a good hotel and served its purpose.

OK over all
[...] I had booked a smoking room on line. Was giving a smoking room and after unpacking found out I could not get the net. After about an hour of troubleshooting it turned out that room just had an issue for wireless. New room first floor NON-SMOKING. I will say that the guy on duty, [...], was very helpful and did the best he could with the situation. I'm also going to try America's Best on my next trip. Got to compare. Thanks

Never stay here again
Got to hotel, duty desk guy was friendly, but that's not enough. There "best room" was awful. No hot water, color TV had little color, iron burned carpet, cigarette burns on counters...funny this was a "No Smoking Room". The ice bucket was green and had mold in it. Had to move. New room: TV sucked. Looked like it came from swap-meet. Set screen was not adjusted and top and bottom was missing. Bed frame was unfinished 2x4 wood with 1x4 slats. Box spring was stained, old and should have been trashed. Bed was so hard that my back hurt for hours after leaving hotel. I should get a complete refund from hotel for the trouble...will contact main office this week. Will not stay at this hotel again.

Some good, mostly bad.
OK, first the good; (1) price was very good (2) it was close to the highways. The bad was; (1) the place is old and not so clean (2) the shower had really low pressure and was made for someone 4' tall (3) wifi was very intermittent (4) they tried to charge us when we showed up even though we prepaid[...]

Convenient and clean
Although staff weren't very cordial, they were generous with complimentary breakfast, room and pools were clean, and close enough to walk to restaurants. Also liked it's tucked away location even though off highway.

A very ordinary exterior of a restaurant called "Chicken and More" is actually a very wonderful little Greek restaurant. Amazingly inexpensive, and absolutely delicious! Went there both nights for lamb shank, bowl of Greek salad, fresh dolmas, humus, pita, etc. Even decent wine - and friendly atmosphere and service. A definite great value.
