The room was out dated and had a odor to it. We brought a room freshener . The breakfast was cheesie. Hot dogs!!!!!! Yes HOT DOGS! The cable did't work the first night for prime time only. Whats up with that?

noisy!
If you can sleep through anything, then this place would be average. A very large group of kids stayed here the same night and was outside yelling and running up and down the halls all night. The person at the desk was unsympathetic to my complaints. There's a nice big shopping center across the street, so I got some earplugs. even with the earplugs I didn't sleep well at all. The room was small and cramped with awkward, broken furniture. the bed was okay but the pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was just okay. Next time I'll spend a few more bux and go elsewhere.

Horrible
We were picking up our daughter and moving her to northern CA, so had to get up very early in the morning for the 10-hour drive. The people in the next two rooms were having a party, and we called the front desk twice and went down there once. The manager on duty said they had a "three-strikes" policy and after the third complaint the police would be called to escort the offending parties off site. This never happened, and we didn't get to sleep until after 4:00 am. They should follow their own policy and if they are not going to, they should not tell the guests they will.

Would recommend again
We chose Escondido because everything in San Diego was way over priced. I was very pleased in all areas from checking in to housekeeping. Pool was older but sufficient. Does get crowed on the weekend nights. Location was great as far as places to eat and shop. Room was very clean but could have used a carpet cleaning, no stains, just dirty socks after walking on it for awhile. Breakfast was ok but hey, it was free. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Biz Traveler
Disappointed
Good location, close to highway, shopping and food, but the good ends there. Inside, the hotel smelled old and musty. The room was small and cramped. The TV was an old 19" portable. The cable channel selection was very limtited. The bed was hard, the pillows too soft. Last, but not least, there was no water pressure and in five days, I never had what you could call a hot shower.

Comfortable and pleasant
Needed a place to stay for two days while attending a wedding. The Escondido Comfort inn is perfectly located, easy to approach, nice and quite.

unbeatable location for the price
The bathroom was spotless-room was very clean. I was in town for an interview and enjoyed the continental breakfast-a huge convenience and savings. This was my first stay where cost was a factor so it is hard to compare from previous excursions-to be fair.
