Convenient traveler hotel near the Bay Bridge and Berkeley

Business Traveller Again
Room was a Prison
My expectation of the amenities at a Sheraton were not met. The room was tiny and sparse. The staff was outstanding. Very accomodating, polite, everything you want when you are away from home on business.

Ok hotel..location was great!
I stayed at this hotel because I was moving my daughter into her dorm room at CAL Berkeley. I was basically looking for a convenient location and I was satisfied with this aspect. The rooms were very small and it had a bad odor, also I could smell cigarette smoke thru out the night. I complained about it and they staff did ask if I wanted to move rooms. I did not want to move rooms, also I stubbed my toe in the bathroom door because of the poor construction and the size, it was sooooo small! All in all I would not stay at the Sheraton again, but I would stay in the location.

Great Central Location
The hotel was convenient and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that I was given a room that had just had the carpet cleaned and while there was a sign on the door notifying me,it was uncomfortable walking around on damp carpet. But, I guess I knew it was clean.

Convenient location
Had a cup of tea in the lobby in the morning, which I promptly threw away because the hot water pot had previously been used for making coffee and it tasted horrible. (Why do hotels do that?!) Other than that, everything was fine - the room has the basin and mirror in the room itself and the shower and toilet in the bathroom, which I happen to like. The bed was comfortable.

Very Good Experience
We arrived early in the afternoon. The room was available; the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good-nothing exceptional. It was clean and well equipped. I have stayed here once before and was similarly pleased.

I reserved two two-night stays in August of this year. The first one went fine: we were given a room with two double beds. The second stay we were assigned one double bed and the desk clerk said that we asked for a "single," but the reservation [...]clearly stated that there were two persons in the double room. The hotel was full, so the room could not be changed.The computer connection in the business center was not functioning.

Met Our Needs
Comfortable and convenient place when you need a place to sleep in Emeryville. We were attending a wedding on the marina. Room was clean. Liked that the front desk clerk gave us complimentary bottles of water when we asked where we could purchase. Liked the in-room coffee maker as well as brewed coffee in lobby in the mornings. We ran out of toilet paper and had to request because they leave 1/3 - 1/2 rolls without a spare. There was little legroom between the bed and dresser. Couldn't open drawers all the way. The train rolled by, but it didn't bother our sleep.
