Great location -
The hotel is in a very good location, close to shopping, San Francisco, Oakland and Berkley. Although near a freeway the sound proofing is excellent.

Great Hotel in a great location.
Great hotel just across the Bay Bridge from San Francisco which will give you easy access to the Warf, museums and other tourist spots. There is a small outdoor mall across the street from the hotel with great dining and a movie theater for a relaxing evening. Parking was plentiful but not free (wish it was). Hotel offers free slow Wi-Fi, but the faster service was an extra charge. Disappointed there were no refrigerator in room for drinks. On a side note, we stumbled across Pixar in the neighborhood while returning from a restaurant for breakfast. All of that being said, it was a great experience and I would happily go back there again.

Very Ordinary - Nothing Special!
We spent three nights at this hotel and found it to be very ordinary - nothing special at all! Most hotels leave extra towels in the room - this one had two people staying in the room and there were just two towels!!! Certainly not what one would expect of a Marriott!

Great place!
It's not cheap, but not unreasonable for the area, either. The hotel felt classy and had many wonderful features like workout rooms and a spa. The view of the Bay was fantastic and the room was clean and nice. I would stay there again, though I disliked the way the price crepe up as you add the view and parking ( a $9/day fee I did not discover until I arrived.)

Good experience. Friendly staff. Great location. 3.5 Star. The room I stayed, why was the coffee pot set inside the bathroom? Not too apetizing.

Comfortable Accommodations
Enjoyed our stay while helping our daughter move out of the dorms at Cal Berkeley. Was an easy drive to the Berkeley campus and the surrounding shopping area was wonderful! The room was comfortable, clean and roomy. We plan to stay here again when the time arises.
