The Hacienda Hotel is very convenient
I found the Hacienda Hotel to be very convenient. My business was made much easier by the fact that it is minutes from LAX, close to major freeways & has a convenient shuttle to & from LAX every 15 or 20 minutes, 24-hours a day. I appreciated my quiet & spacious room on the 5th floor of the South Tower. I enjoyed the hotel's comfortable patio & it's very courteous and friendly staff. It was very helpful that there are several fast food restaurants, a supermarket, Starbucks, a bank and a 24-hour pharmacy within walking distance of the Hacienda.

Good Hotel
The hotel itself was beautiful. Nice courtyard, good pool, pretty garden. The neighborhood was good, quiet, and felt safe. My only disappointment was that it was not too accessible to tourist places, unless you rent a car. Then parking at hotel was always full, so had to park in additional hotel parking across the street (behind gas station) - also pretty full most of time. But that's pretty much true for LA not just the hotel. Hotel was very close to LAX. They have a rental service by check-in. Internet access in the lobby as well. The adjoining restaurant Mariposa was nice, people there were very friendly. Breakfast was great. Had a problem with the toilet in my room. When I advised them - maintenance fixed it right away. The staff handling guest services could have been more helpful, they barely answered my questions about where to go but the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay with my 8-yr-old daughter - we felt safe (highly important factor).

Paradise at LAX
From the outside this hotel does not look like much but once you pull in to the turnabout you will quickly realize that you are in for something special. You walk into the main lobby and see people from what appears to be every nation, speaking in various languages, yet each person has the same familiar expression... a pleasantly surprised smile. The hotel staff were quick to check us in and even offered dining suggestions without being asked. We opted for room service and I have to admit that in all the hotels we have ordered room service none compare to the this hotel. They answered the phone quickly when called, gave a time when the food would be delivered, they exceeded expectation by delivering it well before their stated time, AND the food was HOT and GOOD! The bed was very nice and quite soft, yet supportive. The bathroom was a bit small but the hot water was hot immediately and the room was well ventilated. The only down side was parking. It's across the street but in reality it was a very short walk, 2-3 minutes. The upside to the parking situation was the patrol that was visible both when we arrived and when we left. If you are fortunate to have a room overlooking the atrium you are in for a treat. The water fountain is amazing beautiful and the entire patio was pleasantly situated. All in all my wife and I were very surprised. We've never heard of Hacienda Hotel and questioned if we should stay there. After our experience, there is no question where we will stay when we're in the area.

Friendly, clean, and very close to LAX
I was on my way to Anaheim for a conference and my plane got to LAX late in the evening, so I was looking for a convenient location to spend the night. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and there's a great pool and outside seating area. The room was very clean and smoke free. Free transportation to LAX, and it's only a few blocks from the airport, and it's easy walking distance to offsite restaurants.

First time visitor friendly
The Hacienda was a very nice hotel option for a weekend trip to LA. While not directly in the center of LA, touring the city was only a trip to the lobby away, via VIP Tours. Also, the location was close to the transit system, which was nice for a non-driving tourist, who is use to travling by public transportation. The only thing really missing from the standard room was a microwave and mini fridge. Overall a good stay.

There was a 24 hour grocery store across the street, which made picking up small items like safety pins, razors, and even food items, easy and farely reasonable.

Very family friendly,
I really enjoy the court yards an out door fireplace in the even was lovely and the sitting areas of the other court yards was so pleasant I went and sat out side and thought now this is what California is about the comforter and flowers and the breezy weather and sunshine and palm trees and clean lovely surroundings And all of this so close and near the airport who would of thought, Oh and the shampoo and lotions was a real treat good size and the cool thing about it was I could use the computers in the lounge and didn?t have to wait for one there where about 6 or more for customer use. I would continue to going back with out any hesitation very clean and comfortable room I had and very good light in the room which is sometime very tough to fine good lighting to get make up in. The Hacienda Hotel, I'll be back!

Fantastic Value
The Hacienda Hotel is one of the best values in hotels near the LAX. And you don't sacrafice a beautiful facility. The rooms are not brand new, but they are very pleasant and comfortable. Any time I am in this area, I'm staying at the Hacienda.

Comfy Stay, Comfy Price
The best thing about this hotel is the Stay and Park feature. If you stay at the hotel you can park your car for up to 7 days at the hotel. All for around $150. The rooms are very clean - bathrooms looked newly remodeled. The fitness room is small but all equipment is newer and nice. LOTS of restaurants in the hotel including a bar, Mexican restaraunt, and diner style eatery with great coffee and breakfasts. Starbucks, a grocery store, Subway, El Pollo Loco, etc are across the street. 1 mile south of LAX so very convenient for travellers including a free shuttle to and from the hotel. The hotel grounds look as though a Mexican has decorated the Queen Mary - that is the best way I can think to describe it! It has a boat like feel with hacienda style! Very clean and well maintained, but don't expect anything too fancy or prissy. The rooms are standard looking, nothing fancy but nice, clean, and comfy. On the small side, but not clausterphobic or anything. Elevators are a tad slow and old fashioned and check in can be a total nightmare since the hotel seems to be a hot spot for big tour groups, seniors, airline crews, etc. There was always a line out the door to check-in and the entry way at the front is constantly jammed. Even with long line, we checked in in about 20 minutes and the staff at the front counter were civil. We will definitely stay here again because of convenience, price, cleanliness and ameneties. Recommended!
