Embassy Suites Los Angeles - International Airport/South

We have been using this hotel as an overnight stopover on the way to Mexico for 5 years. Usually a couple of times a year. The restaurant in the hotel is quite good, and it is very nice to have a hot breakfast included with the room. Only thing you MUST remember is to call the shuttle from the Airport or you may be waiting a long time, as they only come when called.

Generally I am a fan of the Embassy Suites but this is not a good location at all. It is JUST BARELY OK at that. The rooms are down and unfortunately I did not bring my own pillow and pillow case. It’s obvious the cleaning crew throws the pillows on the floor as they are cleaning your room. This was based off the fact the pillows were still on the floor when I returned to my room in the evening. The bed was freshly made, trash emptied, and new towels. I found it slightly disturbing I had to pick up pillows off the floor. Upon opening my curtains and sheers there was a bullet hole in the window. It did not pierce through the glass but it was most certainly from a gun. The breakfast was lackluster and once again I think it was based off the location. If you have the option…pass on this location!

This hotel was definitely the high-light of my 23 hour layover in LA! Beautiful indoor courtyard was lush and made me feel like I was living in a rainforest. The staff was very accommodating in helping me book a bus tour of LA (t'was my first time) and breakfast was superb- made to order pancakes, omelettes, eggs, bacon, you name it. enjoying the food near the beautiful koi ponds didn't hurt either. I also loved that I could open up my banlcony door and watch the airplanes. My room was so very comfortable- 5 pillows I think? I could have slept in forever! Free shuttle to and from airport was VERY efficient, never waited more than 5 minutes. A+++ Thanks guys!!

No problem at all. Hotel have excellent breakfast and snak afternoons. (unusual) Congratulations!!

Nothing special. Restaurant needs attention. Ate there twice -not good.

Food choices limited........obviously frozen pasta entree heated for room service........forgot half my order.....had to go back twice. Older hotel somewhat remodeled--tacky, smelled of chlorine. Free happy hour food was corn chips and popcorn.

Went through a time of no electricity, should have had some type of back up lighting. The pool was out of order, due to construction work, which was my main choices when picking out a hotel. We were told we could go to one of there other hotels, but that is not convenient when you are only there a short time. When the pool finally reopened, there was still construction going on and too much dust to enjoy the pool.

I was greeted pleasantly by the reception, then found the suite well furnished and equipped.

I was grateful for the hotel's flexibility regarding my check-out. Having flown in from Bangkok close to midnight, I was given extra time before checking out the next day. I valued the time for sleep and a work out. Thank you Embassy Suites.

HANDS DOWN THE NICEST MOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED!! HEARD RESTAURANT FOOD WAS SO-SO BUT COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS A+. LOBBY WAS GORGEOUS WITH PLANTS, PONDS, FISH, ETC. WISH IT HAD BEEN A LONGER STAY. ONLY DRAWBACK WAS IT REQUIRED A TELEPHONE CALL TO GET SHUTTLE TO AIRPORT.
