Holiday Inn Express

When I got to the Hotel the manager could not find my reservation and after she found it tried to give me down grade me to a regular room and not the purchased suite. Also my suit was supposed have a balcony and the room she gave did not. When I went to use the spa it was noisy and four jets were inoperative so I advised the manager and she did not make an effort to come to the room and inspect it and repair it. One of the remote controls to the room was missing when I advised the manager she said they have had problems with that particular TV and that they did not have a remote. Frustrated my family and I when out to eat. Before I left I checked the windows to make sure they were locked. Both windows had the safety latch open and the child proof lever raise making it easy for anyone to enter. When I informed the manager she "Oh the room maid must of left it open". Never did she express concern for my valuables. Last but not least I had several voluble items on hand so I went and asked for a security box. She said they have some but that they did not have keys meaning that they did not work. I paid 130 per night with taxes and fees 301.00 I expect better service for my money.

Short walk for hotel is a restaurant with good Mexican food opened 24 hours.Sorry did not get name.
