cypress Hotel a kimpton

We have stayed at this hotel several times before. We were impressed with the staff and all other parts of our experience. This hotel may even be better with time. It made our stay very relaxing and ennjoyable.

*Charming* cirque meets quiet retreat.

Work related. Needed a quiet space to get things done. Stayed in back of hotel-toward top. Very quiet and room service was excellent. Called for pillows(all are down) at 3am and fantastic pillows arrived in minutes! Great Job Cypress Hotel! Staff was fantastic and the red velvet elevators are fun to dance in! Cannot wait to go back.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Great restaurant about two blocks away. Cafe something..really yummy food but in a strip mall on the other side of street so you never really know it's there.

Very nice

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was quiet and restful with a small park where I walked my dog. I will definitely stay there when I travel to the San Jose area. If you're going, don't miss Andy's BBQ on El Camino. The only thing that would have added to my enjoyment would have been in-room coffee rather than room service.

Great hotel

We were in town for one night to see the ballet. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the wine reception while sitting by the fire. The unique decor of the hotel was a lot of fun.

Pleasanly Surprised

I went there for friends wedding and expected a small, almost motel six like setup. When I pulled up and saw the outside of the hotel it blew my mind. My favorite part though was instead of having the plain white bathrobes, they had leopard print robes. And they sold leopard print underwear.

Cypress Hotel - a Kimpton Hotel

Only stayed one night. Could have used a coffee service as is offered in most places. Sumptous bedding. CD player was nice. We always bring some music. IPod and MP3 interface should be added in the futre.

Not your standard Hotel....

Went to the area for a family gathering, and found the Cypress. Enjoyed the interesting atmosphere, including employees. We were accomodated well by the acting manager, and would definitely go again. An excellent value, with good promotions.

Great 4 star price

We really enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. The rooms are clean and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the workout room had plenty of good equipment. Good places to eat in the immediate area.
