We are adjacent to the corner of Sepulveda Blvd. and Washington Pl., and about 1 block from the San Diego Freeway. We have a Family restaurant on premises. Our rooms are large with 27inch, remote control, color television, and offer cable and HBO. For your convenience we offer in-room safes and access to rooms from the main lobby elevator. We are convenient to all Westside attractions including Marina Del Ray, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Sony Studios, Getty Center, Veterans Center, Staples Center. Our hotel is located near Los Angeles International Airport and half way between Universal Studios and Disneyland. If you are planning to visit The Price is Right or Wheel of Fortune at Sony Studios, we are less than a mile away. Sorry, No Pets Allowed.

Good location and value

This is a classic 70s motel styled building with large comfortable rooms. Good shower, refrigerator, massive flat screen TV, with parking. Good location for Culver City access, but not in the middle of things. They give you a $5 breakfast voucher for the diner next door. The diner is a high point! Great food. It was clean although the former tenant's snacks were left in a drawer and the refrigerator.

Another Great Stay

This is my third stay, and this little jewel does not disappoint. Staff great. Love the breakfast discount at the restaurant next door. Room is not luxurious, but more than adequate, clean and quiet. Comfortable sitting area gives mini-apartment feel for a week-long stay. A great location for getting to and from LAX and seeing LA without the freeways. I'll stay here anytime I'm in LA.

20 minutes from LAX

We decided to go middle of the road, pricewise, and spend the money we saved in housing for dinners and adventures in LA. This was the perfect choice, The rooms were a little larger than we expected and you definitely face a major busy street. But the room was quiet, the TV was big, everything worked, and it was properly cleaned. Parking was free and there was an employee who kept an eagle eye on the vehicles. 5.00 off breakfast at the restaurant downstairs with an unexpectedly aggressive menu. Yum. This was the best deal we could find and so we traded the absence of a lobby and inside doors for the saving of the really decent motel.

3 mexican restaurants nearby. The best was after you walk under the freeway overpass. Look for the butcher shop/store on the other side of the street. There is a little restaurant attached where they serve their own meats, home-made chorizo, lamb, chicken from the store, and home made tortillas. Gotta love LA!

Great hotel!

Rooms were clean, large and very comfortable (the bathroom was especially nice). This was my fourth time at this hotel and I've always had an excellent experience there. The diner associated with the hotel was also excellent.

Surprisingly wonderful experience

We were looking for an average hotel with free parking in LA. We figured this place would do. Judging by the pictures, we weren't expecting much but boy were we in for a surprise. The rooms were very comfortable, perhaps even better than most rooms at 3-star and 4-star hotels. There's a sofa and coffee table in the living room area. Huge flat-screen TV (with satellite!) hanging from the wall. There's even a microwave and fridge. They give you a breakfast voucher that you can use at the diner downstairs (great food). This hotel is easily one of the best I've stayed at for the value.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The diner downstairs is popular at all times of the day. There might even be a short wait during breakfast time. Down the block from the hotel is an extremely popular taco place. Long line from morning to night but it is well worth the wait.

Do Stay Here!

The hotel is conveniently located for some activities I pursue. The rooms are very nice--large, well appointed, comfortable. The wi-fi connection was initially not good, but became strong and dependable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Recommended.

A great week in LA!

A super little home-away-from-home. $5 coupon for breakfast or other meal at the Metro Diner (located at motel) where the food is fresh and innovative, and the servers remember you. Hotel staff always cheerful, room clean, little fridge & micro, Trader Joe's just down the street. TV selection and coffee in room could be better; but the diner is just downstairs and its coffee is terrific! Highly recommend to budget travelers looking for comfort over luxury.

A real find in LA for budget travelers!

First, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - [...], the manager, [...]at the front desk - can't name everyone, but wow! This is an old Travelodge, and clearly "used". Right off 405, but not noisy. On the edge of everything and convenient to the new Getty Museum, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, downtown, etc. The price was right, the water was hot, the bed and pillows were big and comfortable. The Metro Cafe downstairs is casual, relaxed, friendly and has good food plus beer. Free wi-fi and parking saved us money too. We would go back again.
