Beautiful Historic Hotel
Staying at the Culver Hotel was a wonderful experience! The historic charm that the hotel holds is so fantastic. The lobby is beautiful with high ceilings, and has a great staff that is very friendly and helpful. Our room was just perfect for us and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was an added bonus! The hotel is in a perfect location, and walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. You need to use valet for your car, but that is expected anywhere in the Los Angeles area! I would definitely recommend the Culver Hotel for anyone coming to the area for a visit. We will be returning!

Disappointed
You have to vallay your car. If you self park and need to leave early you will have to get a card from from desk, then walk two blocks, then return card. I was give a room someone was already occupying. Girl at front desk was on phone with her friend entire time.

Culver Hotel
Staff was friendly and eager to provide excellent customer service, although some not as knowledgable about the area as others. Happy hour is very reasonably priced and continental breakfast is a nice feature. The nightly music adds entertainment to an already charming ambience. Free Wi-fi and computer access completes the overall positive hotel experience. Will definitely be back!

Hotel in Culver city
This hotel had a cool lobby, but a lot of down falls. 1. No parking...had to park way accross the street at Trader Joes. 2. I thought I had a king bed...but they put me in a room with 2 two double beds. 3. Maid service didn't come to room until after 4:00 by that time I was already back for the day. 4. The room was kind of gross...dirty carpet, walls..old bedding. Looked like they hadn't updated in a long time. Basically the room was like a a 1 star hotel. For the money, this hotel was over priced...should be called a 2 star hotel.

Urban chic
Very urban feel to this old 1920's hotel that has been renovated. It is definitely more of a business person's hotel than a family resort since there are no amenities. Bring your earplugs if you plan on sleeping here! Pluses include: great urban styling, nice staff, clean rooms. The bathrooms are large and remodeled. Tons of restaurants within a short walk. Negatives include: Very noisy street outside of room (24 x 7 non-stop noise). Room windows didn't close all the way. Parking was several blocks away in a garage shared with a grocery store. No help with luggage. Discounted "Orbitz room" was on the lowest floor at street side. Noisy hallways.

Stay away from the Italian restaurant, Ugo, across the street. Overpriced food and not very good service. Lots of homeless asking for money if you sit outside. Walk down the street a little further for better restaurants.

Great Staff, Great Building!
Staff was terrific and the building was incredibly beautiful! Rooms are a little on the small side. Good coffee at the included continental breakfast in the lobby.

Short walk from hotel
There is a bar in the hotel and a nice square right next door that includes a couple of restaurants and bars as well as a movie theatre.
