Convenient, well maintained, clean.
This hotel was a good value. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. Being right next to the marina was very convenient for us. The breakfast was typical of hotels at this price level. The waffle maker was a nice touch. The staff was polite. Everything worked. I didn't notice an elevator anywhere, but I didn't look to hard to find one. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

There's a good Mexican restaurant called Cazadores at 1461 Northcrest Drive. Very good food and friendly staff.

There is a wonderful restaurant at the harbour just down the road from the hotel, where you can watch sea lions.

Surfing getaway
Mostly good with good views and amenities..... Bed could have been a little better.....sink had no soapdish......breakfast ended at 9:30 which is kind of early.....for most...

get the ocean view! but, it's extra $$
[...] otherwise it was OK, but the price was a bit over the top... the beach is close by, so, you can get out there to do some serious after dinner walking.. Great Fish & Chips place about a block behind the hotel.

Anchor Beach Inn, Crescent City - NICE
Our visit did not start off so well since the motel did not have our [...] reservation. Luckily I had thought to bring all the paperwork and they could accommodate with the room we had requested. The motel is nothing fancy but it had my two most important requirements - the room was very clean and spacious and the employees were all friendly and helpful. The room was not ready at specified time but we went to see the Trees of Mystery - which was a really fun, worthwhile experience and came back to a nicely made up room! Loved the ocean views!! Some traffic noise which is to be expected when next to a highway but nothing worth complaining about!

See the Trees of Mystery! If traveling with children go to the local park which is maybe a half mile to three quarters mile from motel. It has a large play area, nice picnic area, right near the jetty and the information center. Be sure to stop to see the sculptures across from the motel!

Anchor Beach Inn
Clean. comfortable and friendly. After my day events I went back to the room and rested well. I enjoyed the continental breackfast they offer. I recomend the Anchor Beach Inn to anyone. I will use it again upon my return.

Beautiful Room!
The room was huge with a perfect overlook of the beach. Everything was clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice Affordable Hotel with a View
The hotel was clean. The view of the Ocean/Beach was beautiful. Well worth the price we paid. The rooms need updating though. The tv was going out and was very old, the whole feeling of the hotel was, well, early 90's. Just well maintained. Landscaping was nearly devoid of bark, just bare fabric and half dead plants. Breakfast was OK. Bed was comfortable. Overall experience ok, my second time staying there. I stayed in an adjacent upstairs room this time. Same experience.

About 1/2 mile away is a restaraunt called the apple peddler. Decent breakfast food available 24/7, and with the room key card you get 10% off. Been there numerous times and have not been disappointed for the price and area.
