We stayed here for one night on our way up the coast. It was clean, quiet, friendly, no problems but there isn't much in the neighborhood food wise, at least not this time of year (September)

Older hotel, but not bad
We are vacationing and wanted somewhere to stay near the redwoods. Was a good place to stay. Older hotel, but the rooms were spacious and the showers had great water pressure. Would stay there again.

Solid Value
We arrived after dark New Years Day after a six hundred mile drive. Check-in was quick, the room was ready, the weather was mild and we enjoyed a walk around town, stopping for dinner, returning to our quiet room, enjoying a movie, ten hours of sleep a nice breakfast in the lobby. The woman at the desk answered our questions about what to do and where best to enjoy the Redwoods. Minutes after we left we spied whales spouting and rolling in the ocean a hundred yards or so off shore. It was a great night of rest that prepared us for a day in the Redwoods and along the ocean.

Check in was quick and easy, every one was very friendly and lots of parking. The FREE breakfast in the morning was great!!!!

Disapointed !!
We were very disappointed in this hotel as I have stayed in this chain many times and always found them clean and a great value. NOT HERE!. Smelled musty as soon as we walked in and could not see across the parking lot through the window. I took a wash cloth and wiped of a section of the outside window and the cloth was black (no kidding). I left the cloth out so maybe the housekeeper would notice it but they did not. traffic noise was very loud, and the walls are paper thin. Definitely will not choose this chain again.
