A place to sleep

Room was simply average but noise level was good for sleeping. View from room overlooked Home Depot; the other side of the Inn overlooks a Mexican restaurant. The bathroom is where some serious changes need to be made. Towels are like cardboard, the toilet paper is in a metal box and hard to extract, and the toilet flushed poorly, sometimes needing more than one flush. The toilet seat must have been purchased at the Dollar Store.

Avoid at all costs !

My job requires me to travel and this is the first review I have ever written. Traveled all day with the family. Upon late night arrival there were people smoking outside of our door in the rain. The room was so gross (stained mattresses & more) we all slept in our clothes. The bathroom was so funky that we didn't even shower the next day. We could not leave fast enough. Stay away.

Good basic budget overnight stop

I needed a no-frills overnight accommodation on my road trip up the coast, and this place was fine for that. Nothing fancy, just a nice clean comfy room with free wifi and free morning coffee. Really appreciated the efficient heater on an unseasonably cool night. Was sad that there was only a shower and no bathtub.

Good for one night on the road

We stayed here for one night on our way up the coast. It was clean, quiet, friendly, no problems but there isn't much in the neighborhood food wise, at least not this time of year (September)

Older hotel, but not bad

We are vacationing and wanted somewhere to stay near the redwoods. Was a good place to stay. Older hotel, but the rooms were spacious and the showers had great water pressure. Would stay there again.

Solid Value

We arrived after dark New Years Day after a six hundred mile drive. Check-in was quick, the room was ready, the weather was mild and we enjoyed a walk around town, stopping for dinner, returning to our quiet room, enjoying a movie, ten hours of sleep a nice breakfast in the lobby. The woman at the desk answered our questions about what to do and where best to enjoy the Redwoods. Minutes after we left we spied whales spouting and rolling in the ocean a hundred yards or so off shore. It was a great night of rest that prepared us for a day in the Redwoods and along the ocean.
