Travelodge Costa Mesa Newport Beach Hacienda

Hotel ist a bit old, but clean, very convenient location, we had a nice big room, a bit old, but clean. Close to Newport Beach and Laguna Beach and even not to far to other beaches further south. Good value for very decent price.

You get what you pay for in this room and a little more. While you won't get a big breakfast you will get enough to fill you until your next meal. For the price you get a nice large clean room with free wifi and a large 40 in. mounted TV. While a little older all was well taken care of. We stayed 3 days and our room was always cleaned and cared for. No problem with the area or getting around. Walking distance to food and movies.

We didn't plan on spending time in the hotel but the weather was horrible in newport when we went so we ended up spending more time in the room. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean as well as the pool area. Great hotel for the price. We will stay again

The room was spacious, well-kept up & quiet -despite being close to a major road. The staff were pleasant & helpful & the location near the gorgeous Newport Beaches was perfect! I woulkd strongly recommend this hotel to friends!

The staff was super...very helpful, room clean and simple breakfast of fresh fruit, rolls, toast, juice not fancy but great to get going on our day. There was a safe for valuables, good parking, quiet room and free internet to print boarding passes and driving directions. It was close to beaches at a reasonable price.

I arrived from out of town to conduct business in Newport Beach, CA. The hotel was only 3.5 miles from my work site. After a long hot day I was greeted pleasantly at the hotel front desk and offered a room on any floor. The hotel staff recommended a ground floor room facing the pool. The room was clean and the A/C was on low, making the interior of the room pleasant on a very hot and humid day. The room was very clean. After swimming in a clean and clear pool, i returned to the front office and asked the staff for recommendations on where to have diner. The staff member recommended three places within easy walking distance, which included three different types of restaurant cuisines. My overall experience was very good and I would return to this hotel in the future.

My friends and I had a great time! Everything was clean and tidy. It was nice to have a pool and spa area to sit out and relax. Travelodge is a great location with easy access to beaches and Bars! This hotel is very reasonably priced and gave me all the essentials. Nice!

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at the travelodge. It is a great location for a great price. It is relatively close to the beach and very close to the Newport bars. It is a wonderful hotel for a getaway weekend.

Shower is the best I've had in 10 hotels. Breakfast is severally lacking, needs fruit and yogurt.

This was a two-week stay to take our grandchildren to visit their dad and entertain them while he was working. The accommodations were not bad enough to really complain, but not good enough that I would want to stay there again. There was no separate area for eating breakfast, which was humdrum, and no TV in the lobby. The hot tub was apparently cleaned only once a week so after a few people used it the water was green again. Also, the water temperature was never above bath temperature. The location on a one-way access road requires driving several blocks out of the way each time you want to return to the motel. This is not an issue for one or two nights, but for a two-week stay it was not convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning the room each day, but the carpet was beyond what a vacuum cleaner could handle. It was sticky and needs to be replaced. I couldn't stand to go barefoot in the room!
