This was a great vacation getaway alone. The staff were fabulous. The beach was beautiful, the food was excellent, facilities were clean, and I felt safe and secure. I highly recommend this hotel - it is worth every penny. Within walking distance
to other businesses, bus service, restaurants, souveniour shops. I look forward to my future stay at this hotel. You don't even need to rent a car.
This is really now a business conference/expense account hotel, but that doesn't detract from the experience. The architecture is from a bygone era, and the hotel does a good job of highlighting its past. However history alone doesn't make a
great hotel--the del Coronado scores because its staff are friendly and attentive and their facilities comfortable in every way.
The Del is the very best. Definitely worth the expense! May/June weather is not good, but definitely restful. The staff is exceptional and personable. The Spa at the Del is top notch...definitely made the trip! The history of the Del adds to
the charm and it's the most complete resort around. You do not need to leave! It's all there at the Del.
