Budget Inn and Suites

I will never ever return to this hotel. I do not recommend it to anybody. I had booked a room with a king size bed. I arrived at the hotel at 7:00 pm. They rented the room to someone else. Instead they offered me another room with two separate beds. They promised to change the room the day after that. The day after, they gave us another room with a king size bed. But the toilet did not work in that room. The room stank terribly because of that. When I told them, they gave us another room with two single beds again. This room did not have a fridge. I asked them again to put a fridge in it. Then the wash basin did not work. The staff behavior was not good at all. Most of them could not even speak in English. They did not even apologize for that. The guy told me "This is as is, I can't do anything for you" Do not ruin your trip to LA by staying there.

I liked the location and the room price was really fair. The room was cleaned every day and it had a quiet environment. I definitely would choose this hotel again in the future.

I knew the room wasnt going to be a five star, nor was I expecting that. When we checked in they gave us the tv remote...so you can guess how the rest of the story is going. The rooms werent dirty, but they werent as described either. There was no refridgerator as described. The room came with 3 flat rock hard pillows and two large towels with one hand towel. We asked if we could get another pillow and was rudely told no that there arent any extra. The place is definitly a low budget hotel without the low budget prices. 49.99 a night should be a lot nicer than this. Wouldnt stay here again thats for sure!

Being as how we basically used the room to sleep and get ready for a day and night out in LA it wasn't that bad as far as the price was concerned. However, the staff was so cold and not very approachable, so dry and mellow. We were also disappointed that there was no hot water to shower, that was the worst! Never again will I book at this hotel.

Although probably worth it for price and value (my room was $38 a night, but I have nothing to compare with), I felt very misled by the photo and 3 star rating, which is the only reason I chose this hotel. I am usually more careful with comparison shopping, but had to make a quick decision. This hotel is not at all attractive or well kept from the exterior, and in a commercial but not unsafe part of town. Lobby and elevator, and walkway to room are quite grungy. Room was acceptably nice, and large. Couches were grungy but otherwise OK. Towel, soap, shampoo are minimal. Older TV. Bed is fine.

It was a pretty unpleasant experience. The room smelled bad, the carpet was dirty, there were black spots all over the white towels (I don't think they know about bleach) and it pretty clearly used to be a smoking room. It's also in a terrible location. There are plenty of other places that would be better in a similar price range.

When I arrived I could not find an elevator so I walked around and all I saw was piles of junk so they might be renovating. After looking around I could not find an elevator so I walked up 4 flights of stairs. When I opened the door the first thing I experienced was the bad musty smell from the room. The room had stains everywhere from the bed to the carpet. The worst part of the room was that there was no shower head or bathtub plug so I could not bathe at all. I have stayed in a lot of motels and hotels and I have always been able to bathe in some way. For $20-$30 more you will find a nice room at some other hotel and you will not be disappointed and wasting your money.

Clean, spacious rooms, nothing extra beyond ordinary. The best thing was that it was cheap. I got a room for $45 and it was in a great location for me right off the I5, next to a gas station, and a Denny's.
