Motel 6 San Diego Chula Vista

It was clean and my room was comfortable. Decent size for me and a crawling/learning to walk 10 month old. They need a ramp from the parking lot to make it more accessible to ppl with wheelchairs and strollers. The staff was ok. They were courteous but after they speak to you once if you see them in passing don't expect them to speak. Overall it was nice but I do think they overcharge a little considering they don't really offer a lot.

It was a very clean room, great location, had McDonalds in the front and other restaurants were close by, the marina park is in short distance, which is perfect because its beautiful..

Mattress under the sheets looked bad. This is the second time in the past 2 years i've stayed at a Motel 6 and the room smelled of wet and moldy carpet. They need to hire a "dry" carpet cleaning company!

This place was horrible. We stayed in a nonsmoking room that smelled like an ashtray. When we called the front desk to change rooms they said they were booked and couldn't accommodate us until people checked out the next day. So being that it was late and we were exhausted we stayed. The rug was nasty looked like the hotel staff never used a vacuum on it. The bed was horrible, it squeaked and when you got up and down the springs popped. Within 6 hours we had checked out and found a new hotel. Thankfully enough the mgmt was understanding and didn't argue and in fact refunded part of the 6 hr stay. Lastly there is an armored guard and when I asked about the neighborhood and the need for an armored guard he gave me a polite reply however it definitely made me question the area that I was staying in. Never again would I stay at any of the chains of this motel. Beware! If you don't mind an unkept room, squeaky bed, and the smell of smoke then be my guest. Otherwise drive right by this place and look for somewhere else! Giving this place 1 star is being generous!

Surrounded by great restaurants which are walking distance. The only thing missing was free wifi, which I noticed that some of the hotels around it do have. Bed was a bid hard.

Everything was great at this hotel/ motel. It was very quiet and very close to the 5 freeway. you can get into San Diego right away. You can also avoid all the traffic and extra parking fees from downtown. The hotel has a small pool but its good enough to relax and chill. Staff is friendly and they also let me check out late. If you want to stay in between the border and downtown San Diego this is a great spot.

The room smelled very bad. I call the front desk to report the situation but they didn't help . . . they couldn't give me a different room because they were sold out . . . I was super tired to look for something else so I didn't have a choice . . .

Nothing special about the room,have had better for the price, very average. Not to happy that you have to leave your ID at the desk to get an iron or blow dryer but you have to. No fridge or microwave, but I'm sure you have to leave your ID for that too. Staff was nice... Everyone greeted us in the morning. Security was around so that was ok. All in all not bad.

The room was just o.k...nothing special and the staff not very friendly. I wouldn't stay there again unless I was looking for something REALLY cheap. It was clean...barely...and the bed was VERY uncomfortable. It needs some BIG TLC

The room was disgustingly dirty. From the floors, walls gross. looked like blood or something similar. fabric on chairs was bad , shower curtain, bedding. I ended up driving to target and buying a sheet and blanket. The toilet seat did not match the toilet and no toilet seat lid. My window would not lock and i was on the bottom floor.
