2nd stay in two months. Room was clean both times and my requests to not change sheets and towels every day was honored. Quick, good breakfast helped with time constraints.

Italian Cottage, a Chico institution, is still as good as the first time I went in 1974!

loud and not good for handicapped people
When I checked out, I was never asked how my stay was. I was staying with a friend in a wheel chair. The mirror was so high in the bathroom she could not see herself and the bed was so high we tried for 45 minutes to get her in the bed and had no luck. She ended up driving home at 1 am in the morning. I stayed in the room and heard every shower, toilet flush etc. Would not stay there again.

The downtown area is hopping on Thursday nights for the Farmers' Market. Music, food, booths, produce and nightlife.

Nice for the price.
This hotel was just renovated so the rooms were clean and neat. It was close to downtown which made it easy to walk to anything I needed. The front desk was beyond helpful and friendly. I would stay there again the next time I'm in Chico.

Diamond in the Rough
First impression blew me away and i was sold. Very clean and modern. Smack dab down town perfect for a weekend getaway. Very enjoyable. Perfect for parents visiting students at Chico State.

Hotel was great but dont use orbits
Hotel was great, nice remodel, close to downtown and Chico state. Only problem was breakfast, it was great but not kept replenished so we had to go out most mornings. I will stay here again but will never use Orbits after finding out that the rooms were $71.00 per night and Orbits charged us $89.00 per night!!! I wonder how much money I have wasted in the past booking with Orbits. I have to say that after a fight Orbits did refund me the difference. But it took a very long phone call and complaints.
