Comfort Suites Castro Valley

Our handicapped-accessible room was what we needed and all was well, except for the quirk of the shower which had the hot and cold water piped in reverse of what was indicated on the handle! The staff did not explain that until later in the day of our first morning after a second inquiry. The breakfast was okay, but eggs suffered from bad prep even at the moment the room opened - 6:30AM! It was as if they'd been cooked months before and reheated. One guy lost a battle with the wafflemaker, but a staff person retried it for him. He was not in a hurry, thank goodness.

Everything was clean and nice. All staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made all 5 of us feel right at home. No problems at all!

We were here visiting family and though we stayed at other hotels while here we centralized our stay at this hotel. When we came back from our mini trips from other overnight stays it was like coming home. We felt comfortable and relaxed. We both agreed that the stay here was a winning decision that added to the overall success of our vacation.

Went to spend Christmas with my son's family in Castro Valley. I have stayed in many expensive hotels, but I trully enjoyed the Comfort Suites! The beds and pillows were to die for! I know you shouldn't sleep your vacation away, but with accommodations as comfortable as this, it was hard to get out of bed! The rooms were large, very clean, well maintained, the staff super friendly and helpful, there was TV, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, safe, coffee maker and coffee, and continental breakfast. There was also daily housekeeping service, a large hot tub, an exercise room and internet service. I will definitely stay there again!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Having a refrigerator and microwave was handy. We very much enjoyed the hot breakfast provided, eggs,sauage,waffles. Will stay again when we need to go to Oakland Airport.

The room was spacious with a nice layout and it was great to have a fridge. Everyone was friendly. They served the best complimentary breakfast spread Ive seen in a while--the standard waffles and things, but also eggs and sausage and real fruit. Although I didnt get to try it out, they serve complimentary dinner too M-Thurs! I understand they have a vegetarian option too! Free internet in the room made this the best value for the money. Highly recommended!

This is probably the best place to stay in Castro Valley for the money but by no means think you are staying in a Hotel - it is truly a Motel all the way. The front desk staff are simply that - there is nothing more no special services - housekeeping was good but sheets should be checked for cleanliness. The Motel does not do a decent job of maintenance and that's sad as it's not an old facility but...refrigerator in our first room didn't work then the hair dryer didn't work and had to change rooms at 6:30 a.m. in the morning in order to be able to dry your hair .. Overall, the location is very convenient and it is by far the best in CASTRO VALLEY TO STAY. That will be the reason we will return to the same Motel in the future - only because of location and convenience.
