The best part of the hotel was the price. The room was so so and the lack of hairdryer and shampoo was disappointing. Also unlike what the description says, there is no microwave in the room. All in all, the price was good and I was out enjoying Santa Barbara most of the time anyway.

Exactly what the title says. Loud noise from the freeway. Room had an odor. Bed was uncomfortable. Bed comforter was stiff. Took my own sleeping bag. Bathroom is too small. Just very plain and not comfortable. I just needed a place to stay last minute. Definitely gonna put more thought into it next time.

The cleaning service did not replace the plastic cups and other small items each day. I had to go ask for them or scrounge from other places. However, they did give me two bandaids when I cut myself when checking out.

I expected a Motel 6 to be very ordinary but at least clean. Everywhere there were pieces of gum, cigarette butts and dirt. Everything needed paint and a good clean. If this is indicative of all Motel 6's then they should change their slogan from "We'll leave the light on" to "The way we're going, our lights will be off!

There was nothing exactly "wrong" with our room except that it had an unpleasant, slightly dank smell. Looked clean and tidy. Decor was unfortunate -- bed spreads so bad they were almost kitch-chic. Hotel was very full and was reasonably quiet at night, staff was fine. Just really glad to get out of the room in the morning!

The room was fine, except for the fact that we were facing the freeway and it was loud. The shower towels were so thin and old that I wouldve been better off with simple paper towels. The rate was super high since we stayed during a busy weekend (Avon walk for breast cancer), but other than that, you pretty much get what you pay for.

Location was not bad , there were only non smoking rooms when I checked in, smoking room was acceptable. My overall experience was fair.

Felt like we were sleeping in the middle of the freeway. Even with earplugs, the sound was deafening. Worst night's sleep we've had in years. Seriously consider staying somewhere in the town, it's not far and will be much more comfortable.

Its was a pleasant stay.

We had driven four hours to get to the hotel and we were dead tired. I am pregnant and sleeping is hard enough already then add the fact that we were put in a room facing the street and freeway. It was sooooo LOUD that we had to turn on the t/v/ loud just to drown out the outside noise. Needless to say, as clean as it was inside....we wasted our precious sleep and $73 and won't be going back.
