Motel 6 Carlsbad East CA

We came to just go to Legoland. This is one of he closest last minute places still avail. The room was ok, very small but manageable. Did not see any staff at all. The room was clean and not as beat down as I thought it would be. Don't count on having coffee because it literally is a coffee warmer in the lobby with mini cups. There are no fridge or microwave in the rooms so if hat is something you need then it is not a place for you. Find. A hotel you ent to Tay because lthouh this location is very close, you still have to drive to th parking lot.

Actually the hotel was quite and for the money would have been Great except for one thing. The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on. My husband and I felt the springs in the bed....We had trouble going to sleep and woke up hurting. If not for the bed being so bad, it would have been excellent for the money.

Beds were hard as a rock and you could feel the springs through the mattress. Ice machines were broken, had to look all over hotel for one that worked. Pool was freezing so we could not go in the pool and the kids were bummed. You pay what you get for with this hotel.

We decided to book this room because it was close to Legoland. Check in was awesome, the pool was not heated and too cold to go into. The beds at this motel were AWFUL. You could feel the springs through the mattress which made for a good nights sleep nearly impossible. The ice machine closest to our room was out of service so we had to walk all over the motel to find one that was working. Rooms do not have refrigerators which required us to make quite a few trips to the far ice machine to keep our sons milk cold over night. All in all, you get what you pay for. I probably will not stay here again and will pay the extra $50 next time to get a room with a refrigerator and a more comfortable bed.

If you're looking a place to stay overnight, this motel is an acceptable choice. Nothing fancy, no fridge, no hair dryer, the TV is old, but the room was very clean and the staff is quite friendly.

The beds were not very comfy at all and the pillows were horrible. No microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer etc. Most other motel chains carry that stuff.

Went on vacation this summer, reserved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a small problem with sink, but was immediately solved by the staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget that's looking for a place to stay. I was very satisfied with the stay.

not what was expected. not happy at all i want my money back we didnt even stay in the hotel.

Far from Seaworld and zoo. No free wifi, no breakfast, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no hair dryer. The bed is near the end of life. Swimming pool is dirty and cold. When I asked for hair dryer. The staffs claimed that they ran out of the only three hair dryers they have and since they don't track who borrowed them, they couldn't help me. I think it was an excuse. If you are on a trip for fun, don't try it. Cheap as it is, I still regretted.

Check in ~9pm, I am the only person checking in at the time. The counter person (young male in his 20s) seemed to be in bad mood... throwing down paper and pen on counter, no dialogue, and when ask for clarification he gave stern reply. Handed out card key without giving direction to room - at that point I just didn't bother to ask him any question. Side Note: Our 2nd floor room faced the I-5 freeway; noise level at night was high.
