Good Value for Price

Hotel is located in a good location close to hwy and just outside old town Campbell. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was a bit noisy because it was near the street. I would suggest asking for a room away from the street. Breakfast was good. The only drawback was lack of a gym, but they do have an arrangement to use gratis a gym 2 mi away.

I like the location...Near anything you need...

It was great...quiet, good breakfasts....near anything you need.... my only complaint..... very dirty carpets... my slippers stuck to them and the bottoms of my slippers were black by the time I left 6 days later....and they were white when I arrived. It would be nice if they could do some heavy duty carpet cleaning....

OK motel, excellent location

The inn's Spanish design is showing its age. However, I found the staff very helpful, the room clean and well supplied and the location excellent near major arteries and the Pruneyard complex of shops and restaurants. The swimming pool and spa are in the shade almost all of the time. The breakfast is a cut above a continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages.

Not For Business Travel

Pros: Area is good, Within walking distance of other dining and entertainment options, Fridge & Microwave In Room Cons: Bad Customer Service, No business center as described, Bad Housekeeping, Bad Breakfast, No Laundry Facilities,Run Down Hotel Rooms, Wifi Doesn't Work In All The Rooms Avoid this hotel. The rate that the hotel charges is simply not worth the value if you're staying here for business purposes. Where do I begin? The hotel's website prides itself on being charming, being convenient for business travelers, and having an award winning breakfast. In short, don't believe the hype. My room was run down with worn out carpet and discolored furniture. The cleaning staff on more than one occasion neglected to completely clean my room. When I called the front desk to have it corrected and was promised it would be corrected, it was not. The television in my room barely worked- several channels lacked sound. The bed, at least, was comfortable if dated. For being a hotel that specifically caters to business travel, they don't have any laundry services (dry cleaning or self-service). You're totally on your own since the staff can't be bothered to help you find a place for that, either. Your room has a fridge and a microwave but mine smelled like something died in it and it took the hotel 2 days after me having to escalate the problem several times to get them to respond to the problem. The internet does not work everywhere on the property. Their website promotes a business center which does not actually prove useful in any way. The management of the hotel seems generally befuddled by any request, having no idea what to do and being generally unhelpful. Their tone in most matters was sarcastic or generally rude. The breakfast is hot. It is not award winning. It's a bunch of carbs and sugary cereals. The fresh fruit is fruit cocktail bathed in a gel of high fructose corn syrup dumped out of a industrial size can into a serving bowl. The eggs are that powdered, reconstituted stuff they serve astronauts. The protein (usually something pork) is cheap and tastes and looks like plastic. The coffee tastes like what I imagine caustic pipe cleaner tastes like. Do your self a favor and just don't bother with their famous breakfast. It's basically famous for being the most lazy breakfast that ever was 'award winning'. The hotel for their rates and their hype needs to step up a few paces. The grounds are well cared for but the interior rooms are careworn and the whole thing gives you the impression that they just don't care, they're just here to take your money.

Surprisingly quiet!

The room & bed were both very comfortable. The desk clerk recommended a couple of bars within walking distance that were really nice. I was concerned about freeway noise but it was minimal. Nice to have a fridge in the room. I was there to see a show at the HP Pavilion. Easy drive to and back. The hotel was sold out but never heard the people in the rooms next door. Breakfast was nice. Better than most "continental" b'fasts where they just hit Costco & get pastries.

Cozy and quiet for an affordable rate

The staff was super friendly, although the maid shouldn't have entered when I told her I was in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and had a nice feel to it with all the plants and trees surrounding it. Jacuzzi was tip top. Best part was how quiet it was. I would definitely stay here again.
