One night was enough

The room was decent and the fireplace was nice but it was very crowded and noisy and expensive. But the breakfast and evening snacks were really good.

Great getaway

Moonstone Landing was a great getaway for us. Staff were friendly and answered questions, bed was very comfortable, view from our partial ocean view room was gorgeous, and the breakfast every morning was healthy and filling! The only downside is that the shower pressure wasn't great, but the bathroom was large, so it was fine.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Don't go to the Sow's Ear (over-priced and not great). Do go to the Sea's Chest (be prepared to wait in line, they don't take reservations), the Black Cat Bistro (make reservations), or walk into Linn's for a casual and home-style cooked meal.

2 nights on the beach

Room is larger than most of this price range giving us plenty of room to stow suitcases and miscellaneous items. Roomy table to work on laptop, but no available outlets to plug it in. Terrific location right on beach. Would stay here again if we're in the area.

Nice Cozy Seaside Stay

We had a quick overnight Stay. Checked in after dark. Left early. The hotel was directly across the street from the Ocean. The morning was quite foggy, But the crashing Waves and Sea Air was nice. Room was clean seems The rooms may have been renovated recently. Overall The place was quaint, Clean. Staff pleasant. Heard the Cont B-fast was nice, didn't make it. Moonstone Landing nestled in among several other places in a strip along Hwy 1 . Nice place to stop along the way. Grab dinner at the place next door, All seafood. THE SEA CHEST, nice Place to check out. Great Food ! Beware: Cash Only

Great hotel!

My husband and I were only here for one night but we really liked the hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable with a view of the water. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Awesome location. Across the st is the Pacific Ocean. Located next door to the the best Seafood reataurant in area. "the Seachest" also a local favorite. Opens at 5:30, but get in line at 5:00. Bring cash, they do not take credit cards. The hotel is like new. Rooms have a rock fireplace and a table at the window to enjoy view. Fridge held our chilled white wine. Social hour from 4Pm to 6PM, they serve cheese, salami, crackers and dip. Contential breakfast as well. Very helpfull staff. Place super clean. You will enjoy your stay!!!!
