Refreshing

More than we expected. The room was large, with a Jaccuzi tub, very clean, private, pleasently decorated, and very quiet except for a little footstep noise from upstairs. Cambria is delightful, and this hotel is in the heart of it!

Burton Inn ok stay

We stayed 2 nights this time. We prefer the rear rooms to the front, but it was nice. Ancient TVs & bare bones minimum breakfast, but otherwise a great value & place to stay.

A lovely place in a lovely city

The City is an absolutely amazing place. The location, the staff and the commodity were amazing. The breakfast was included and the evening wine drinking and getting along with the rest of the residence at the hotel was an absolute joy. It was definitely a fun place. It is located right in the heart of the city and next to nice restaurants and local bars making it easy to enjoy and drink on the town and get back safely. The ONLY issue that I had with the INN was the lack of jacuzzi and swimming pool that would have brought this place to an ultimate high. P.S. This review was written for couples and maybe some singles.

The Burton Inn was absolutely

The Burton Inn was absolutely fantastic! It is in the perfect location in Cambria. Just off the main street. Secluded, but yet still in very easy walking distance of cute little shops. The owner is the nicest person I've come across while staying at a hotel/B&B. We were celebrating our honeymoon that week. They had a whole wall full of DVDs, VHSs, and books available for us to borrow. Breakfast was lovely (steel cut oatmeal was fantastic) each morning. If I were going back to Cambria or looking for another romantic getaway from the city, I would be back at the Burton Inn in a flash!

Not as Advertised

Our room at The Burton Inn was not as advertised. We didn't have a separate living room area, there was only one tv and one bathroom in the master bedroom only, there was no HBO even though we had an HBO viewing guide in our room, it took 15 long minutes to get hot water in the shower, and there was a huge level change/step between our two bedrooms that was dangerous. My brother fell twice traveling between my room and his. He forgot that he had to step down to get to his bedroom and he landed hard both times!

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Be prepared to drive to some of the destinations to restaurants and shopping. The hostess said that we could walk to the restaurant that we had chosen to eat at but the restaurant was actually a mile and a half away. Thank goodness the food at the Main Street Grille was fabulous and budget-friendly, with huge portions.
