Tangerine Hotel

Really great set up. Converted old motel - innovative decor, very comfortable place with superb service - all at a reasonable cost. If you are looking for a place to stay that has loads of places to eat in easy walking distance and has delightful beds to sleep in, then this is it.

I was slightly hesitant to try the Tangerine (I usually go with safe chain hotels) but the place just looked so cool from the pictures. It is, in fact, very cool - an old 60's type motel that's been transformed into a modern boutique motel. Super convenient to the 101. My room was quiet. Comfy bed. Unusual polished cement floors that required flip flops. The reasonable price will bring me back in the future.

In LA for a wedding. Needed a place that was easy to get to, easy parking, and a chill scene. This was perfect for a couple - got the king bed room and its enough space for 2. Tight in the bathroom, but doable. Its a renovated motel that is modernized into a motel. Everything was clean, new, and good quality. On the second floor there was little noise except for the occasional bag rolling on the walkkways outside your door. Only negative is that the motel setup means that your only window is facing the common walkways, but no biggie for me.

We stayed here overnight before our WB studio tour. -Very close to the studio.. you could walk and be there. -Rooms are average but uniquely decorated. -TV channel listings were wrong -The manager guy was very nice -The parking situation would be interesting if you arrive later then the other guests.

went to universal studios, ate at mex. rest. next door for dinner, big boys for breakfast. had everything we needed. The older man employee was very nice & helpful. comfrotable & clean rooms.

We stayed there for 1 night to visit Warner Bros Studios. The Studios are about a 5 - 10 min walk away. So it was perfect.

I was visiting LA for the week and chose this hotel purely for the Burbank location. I must say I was greatly impressed. The hotel was very nice, and the room had a calming Japanese influence. It is close to several area malls, Universal City, and the subway station, which takes you everywhere. I felt reasonably safe walking around even after dark. The manager was very pleasant and professional. The only problem I had was my key card not working properly. However the manager took the time to correct this without any problem. I would recommmend this hotel to anyone not wanting to deal with the whole "Hollywood" scene everyday. The location can't be beat, and it is quite affordable. I would definately stay here again.

We arrived early as we were going to the taping of the Jay leno Show. They were very helpful and allowed us to leave the car there until we could check in. The rooms have recently been redone and are clean and well lit. The street noise didn't bother us as we left the AC on low. There is a good restuarant right next door and a good breakfast place across the street. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

Great price and location near Universal and other Hollywood activities! Safe neighborhood. Staff was friendly and allowed early check-in. Rooms were very clean, updated with flat panel TVs and modern decor. Comfy bed with down comforter.
