Boutique charmer with retro-Southern California style, close to studios
With a colorfully vibrant retro design, the boutique Safari Inn evokes vintage Southern California charm. The hotel is remarkably close to Disney, Universal, Warner Bros. and NBC studios and is within convenient driving distance from all major business and leisure destinations in L.A. The hotel's complimentary Internet access, fitness center, outdoor pool and shuttle service to and from the Bob Hope Airport along with its in-house bistro will satisfy guests in between leisure excursions. Free parking and a pet-friendly policy make it a great choice.

Good value
Clean, pretty quiet and great location. Parking wasn't the best. Breakfast is breads and orange juice. Coffee and Tea with powdered cream- no milk. The lowest-end continental breakfast possible. Good for the price. No wireless internet, but it's everywhere in Burbank.

It fit our needs perfectly
We were there to visit relatives so didn't spend much time at the motel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. That is what is important to us. It was close to relatives home. A drug store and restaurants close by.

Good!
Room was a good size and clean. Staff was very pleasant. Location is good, a short distance from Universal Studios. Plenty of decent places to eat nearby. Pool was small and free breakfast was nothing to write home about, they didn't even have real milk for the coffee, just the powder stuff. But my main concern was cleanliness, and I have no complaints about that.

Unbeatable location for the price
Safari Inn is a quiet and restful place with a nice spotless rooms. Swimming pool is kind of small but it's unbeatable location for the price paid though.

Universal Studios and Hollywood are really close to the hotel what was a main reason this plase was chosen. It was a very right pick.

"P.F. Chang's" has excellent food & service at reasonable prices. Good dining choices in downtown Burbank village.

A very good business hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel before. The fact that it is centrally located means a lot to me. It is also very quiet with few distractions. The only thing I would like to see at this location is an elevator. I would like to see some new softer towels. I always recommend this hotel to my business friends.

A restaurant down the street: Ribs USA. This is an excellent place to kick back and eat. Just don't wear a white shirt. If you do they will give you a plastic bib.

Great Burbank Value
The rooms aren't much to look at, but the bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in and the room was spotless. It didn't apply on this trip, but a big thumbs up for also being pet friendly. I'll stay here again. Great value!

Head to Porto's on Hollywood Way/Magnolia for breakfast. It's not free like the motel's, but the pastry is fantastic.

Middle class couple
Great value, location and clean
Great location- minutes from Universal, easy access to Hollywood and other popular tourist favorites. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a clean hotel at a reasonable price the Safari is a great option. Parking is free. The amenities are not extravigant but has what you need. If you are looking for your hotel to be part of The entertainment it may not be for you. However if you are looking for a clean reasonibly priced place to stay while you explore LA the Safari Inn would defnately have to be on the list.

Always consistent..very clean
We stay twice a year for about 10 days each time to visit family. Hotel is perfect (location, cleanliness etc) but the free continental breakfast is laughable (miniscule pastries & the tiniest apples ever seen). Definitely time to upgrade. Parking lot designed for minis so navigate carefully. No other complaints, very comfortable stay overall.

Loved the Tallyrand restaurant across the street for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Full bar downstairs and nice menu -- very nice atmosphere overall.

Great Trip!
Great location for going to the Rose Bowl BCS Championship Game. Loved the Burbank area. So much more laid back than the rest of LA. Olive Bistro had great breakfast. We will go back next time we're in the LA area. Thanks!
