ESA Los Angeles-Burbank Apt

We were going to stay here Chrsitmas night, it didn't happen. My first impression was not good! I gave it the benefit of the doubt because we needed a place near the aiport. I should have went with my gut feeling. There was a musty order in the hallways...and then we went into the ROOM! There was cockaroaches walking on the counters and the microwave.Gross!! We left immediatley to tell the staff, who was waiting for me at the bottom of the elevator. He stated "you wanted a non-smoking room!" I said yes and one without roaches!

The staff was prompt, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and accomodating. Rested well.

In town working, so the kitchenette was nice and the location is great. Close to freeway, plenty of near by eateries and near airport. Rooms are basic and could be cleaner/more comfortable. Not the best customer service as special requests we not even attempted, but for the price, what does one expect.

The location was very convenient for us, we were attending a wedding. The first nite I washed my hair and couldn't get the hairdryer to stay on so did without. I wear hearing aids so was not bothered but my husband said the refrigerator made wheezing sounds all night. The second nite we just unplugged it. I was going to mention this the AM we left but there was no one at the desk, things were locked up tight, didn't even know where to leave the key card so took them with me. Clerk was very helpful when we requested shampoo and extra towels. We had room 106 in case they want to look at the refrigerator.

Good value for the price. Great location near food, shopping, and airport. It was also nice to have a full size fridge and cook top so we could save some money on meals. Rooms were small and as clean as you would expect for the price.

[...]I found the room and kitchen area to be well worn and not very clean. Most of the kitchen utensils had been pilfered and the toaster almost caught fire after attempting to use it. There was no shampoo and the toilet did not flush well.The front desk seemed reluctant to provide me with additional soap, shampoo and coffee (there is no daily room service) and they did not have any quarters for me to use the laundry room and suggested I try to get change at the shopping center nearby.After my experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others!

I was very pleased with the hotel. It was clean safe and very reasonable. I plan to stay there again the next time I visit California. The only improvement I can think of is to provide better televisions in the rooms.

They were friendly and efficient. Even though our room was on the ground level it was completely quiet. Right next door was a fairly new major shopping mall with lots of resturants. Easy to jump on the freeway or streets into glendale pasadena, los angeles, or hollywood.
