Knights Inn Buena Park/Anaheim

What makes me happy: The distance from the Knott's Fun run was perfect, took three minutes to get around the corner with no fuss. Everything my girlfriend and I wanted to do was no more than 12 minutes away. The clerk was very knowledgeable and even went out of his way to look through a phone book and the internet to find an address for us. Although we didn't eat the free breakfast, it is a nice gesture. I did help myself to a doughnut though =) The air conditioner in the room when set on fan for circulation kept the room comfortable for the two days we stayed in. What kinda killed it: Small stains on the carpet don't bother me because there was evidence that showed it was attempted to be clean and they were pretty inconspicuous. Larger ones were kind of off-setting because they looked fairly fresh; I'll give the benefit of the doubt- it could have been a cleaning solution that dripped just moments prior to check-in. I'm not a huge fan of television but the old crt set was kinda annoying to wait on to warm up or picture being off for many channels that broadcasted in widescreen. On the day of check out, we were woken up by continuous knock on the door about an hour and a half before the 11am limit. Had I not put the top lock, the hotel maid would have walked in. I guess it's more of a personal thing that I don't want someone just walking in while we are still resting. The Main beef: The bed was extremely stiff. Very hard to find a position that made it comfortable, the pillows reeked of what smelled like bug spray and bleach, the bedding underneath the quilt was scratchy I was up most of the night because of this. When we awoke, our clothes, hair and body smelled like the stuff. Ugh.

The room was clean, the towels and sheets were really old and worn. I would stay there again I would just take my own towels.

The hotel is not in a good area. I did not feel safe. I did not even spend the night. The furniture is scuffed and rugged. The wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom and there was a cigarette burn on the sheet. The sheet was very thin or else stained. Stay at your own risk. They would not refund my first night at the hotel.

We was staying there for the night so we could go to Disneyland the next day. It is a much older hotel then it looked in the pictures. The carpet in the rooms looked soiled with age. The hotel staff was on top of making sure we got what we needed.

amenities were very limited, room could have been cleaner, was more like a 29.00 a night, not 59.00.

I was definitely concerned with some reviews, but was Pleasantly Surprised. I have paid SOOOO much for WAY less. I first spoke to [...] on the phone and was comfortable right away. When we arrived [...] was very accomodating, letting me view the room (232). Very Clean. My son went online right away on our laptop. A short walk to Knotts, especially to save on parking fees. BTW, I am fresh out of the hospital, and I easily walked it. The a/c may have worked a little too well, since my son asked for another blanket. Requested and received in minutes (my son says Thank You to you [...] :) My men are sleeping soundly and I will as well. Thank you Days Inn and Staff !!

The rooms need some upkeep. The curtains have holes in them. The television (crt) speakers produced muffled-distorted sound. The housekeeping did not change the sheets and fix the bed the following day. The bath tub's grout had mold. The door's lock was missing.

When we first got our room, we unpacked then found that the dead bolt on the door did not work, and the second security latch was broken. Asked for a new room. After we recieved or next room we went to knotts berry farm. When we returned we found that when the hot water was turned on in the tub it came out as a dribble. Called front desk and was told nobody could do anything till morning except let us use another rooms shower on the other side of hotel. I filled tub using the sink and an ice bucket. Also there is no internet service you can use which hindered me trying to print out my tickets to the amusment park
