Pea Soup Andersen's Inn in Buellton serves up its famous pea soup, along with a free continental breakfast. Good location, close to highway
Very good location for easy driving to Solvang and wineries in the area. Just a short walking distance to Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. just off on Industrial Way. Breakfast was very simple with bread for toasting, muffins, basic danish, coffee, tea and juices. We did not participate in the pool, hot tub, putting green or bocci ball as it was too cold. A fine hotel and quiet to us.

Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. is a great micro brew pub with live music on the weekends. Most places close pretty early so don't expect a lot of night life in the area. Fig Mt. closed around 9 pm.

Very comfortable and clean
Located right next door to Pea Soup Andersons Restaurant. Very nice courtyard with beautiful heated pool. Breakfast in a lovely gazebo with attendant to keep everything stocked and clean. Wonderful old-fashined experience! Would stay again!

Nice size room. Older motel but nice. The bed was comfortable. The heater and air worked well and easy to use. Has nice patio area for each room and very quiet. Breakfast was ok and close to room. Easy to fine and Would stay again.

Horrible Experience
Horrible experience. Was looking for an affordable room in the area that would be simple and clean. This hotel was not that. The woman working the front desk was incredibly rude and unfriendly. The room smelled and had the feeling that there were bugs all over. We gave it a try but left after two hours in the room and went to a different hotel. Not worth the money I was charged.

Good Location
The hotel room was clean and a typical room, but very close to Solvang at about 1/2 the price of an exact hotel room in that town.

was upset when I left Solvang
The Split Pea Anderson was a nice clean hotel. Very nice staff. Could use a little update in the room. I just needing a room to stay it was nice close to the Hitching Post a great Steak House. We we there for a wedding in Solvang. We had to pick up a shuddle at the Hotel Corquet. While we were at the wedding all four of my tires were slashed on my Tahoe, another black Tahoe was also vandelized. My brother-in-law had to stay an extra night to take care of my Tahoe for me. While I came home with his wife. I could not belive in a nice town as Slovang this would happen. Bad timeing as I had just lost my Husband not more than two months ago. I was just so hurt. Will not go back.

Warm, clean and comfortable
It's a very good value for the area, the room was warm, clean and comfortable, and did offer a nice view of the pool, which would have been nice at a warmer time of year. We were disappointed that there was no elevator, especially since we arrived in the middle of a heavy rain storm, and the Wi-Fi in our room was not working properly. I phoned the front desk and after many, many, many rings before answering, the man at the front desk was really no help in figuring out why it wasn't working.

O.K. place to stay
The hotel was in a good location for going to various parts of the wine country and Solvang. It was clean and comfortable but a simple sort of place with rather thin walls that let you hear your neighbors. If you're a meat eater there was a very good western steak and rib place nearby (AJ. Spurs) and a movie theater close by also. The pool and jacuzzi looked inviting and they served a basic continental breakfast by the pool in the morning.

Breakfast and a warm pool
Traveling with kids, we most appreciate a simple continental breakfast and a warm swimming pool. The bonus was their putting green in the courtyard.
