Days Inn Bishop Review

It was o.k. Big room. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom fixtures in bad need of repair. Location was great for us because we came to fish--and fish we did. Good fishing in Bishop Creek, North and South Lakes, and Owens River.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Denny's in Bishop was great. La Casita Mexican Restuarant and the bar-b-que place next door were class acts.

Will not return

Checked in, got in the room with the family, kicked off our shoes and let my 19 month old son run about the room as he had been in a car seat for several hours. About 20 minutes later, I noticed that the bottom of my son's feet were as dark as charcoal from the filth from the carpet. Upon inspecting my own feet, I noticed the same problem! We reasoned with the fact that we were only staying one night, and made the best of it. My wife then left in our car to run some errands while my son and I stayed in the room to unwind from a day of traveling. With the car gone. The manager (or who sure looked like the manager) attempted to enter the room with a key card as the door was closed! Once he realized that the swing lock was closed and that someone was inside, he quickly closed the door. Not good. I will never stay at this place again.

They claim to have Wifi...they dont

HOtel is run down and smelly...
