Star CPR at SLF
Creekside was pleasent, charming and clean.
Since about 2007 Star CPR has conducted Classes to the Medical personnel at Sierra Life Flight/Sierra Aviation in Bishop, and have stayed at other places in the past. The Creekside Inn was conveniently located and charming. The room was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Separate vanity and bathing area always a plus. Never heard doors slamming or other people in halls, (as can be the case in other places). Walked to the Bowling Alley next door and had a delicious NY steak, hubby had fish n chips. The Halibut Steak looked generous, as did everything our party of 12 had to eat. We were the only (out of towners, and the "locals" frequent this family friendly restaurant.). If you think a bowling alley can't serve good food you are WRONG! Reservations are taken, so that says alot. Complementary Breakfast at the Creekside Inn was above average, lots of choices, to suit a variety of tastes. All fresh, and biscuits with sausage Gravy, was surprisingly good, as evident by the 2-gallon pot that was nearly empty at 7:30a. Although the beds look fluffy and comfortable, it was a little too firm for our liking. We didn't get to take advantage of the pool or hot-tub, but would come back again, and bring our bathing suits for a late night soak. Would recommend the Creekside Inn.

The Bowling Alley, next door, although not fancy.... has GREAT food! Great Service! No problem splitting the bill for a large party. Generous portions, and reasonable prices! Can't wait for next visit to try other menu items!

Quick trip to a beautiful spot
This hotel was clean, friendly, warm and served a great buffet in the morning and soup at night. I will go back in a heart beat! There is a pool, hot tub, and a lovely creek that runs next to the hotel...there was even a couple of ducks that waddled about the grass. Beautiful location ( downtown Bishop ) for those who appreciate the warm and western atmosphere... Close by great restaurants, shops, etc.

Great place, excellent service
Our experience at the Creekside Inn was wonderful. The hotel is truly the best Best Western we've ever seen and the service was excellent. Rooms are very clean and spacious. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and they provided everything, from kitchen towels to baking sheets and utensils. We baked cinnamon rolls in our hotel room! It was awesome. They also provide free breakfast and coffee and cookies upon arrival and throughout the day. Hotel is right across the street from a park, where you can feed ducks and right next door to a Danish bakery called Schat's that has delicious pastries and awesome sandwiches. We will definitely stay at Creekside Inn again the next time we travel to Bishop. For those with kids, there's also a historic town and train museum about 4 miles away - our son loved it!
