Dated but ok
Great location, good amenities and breakfast. Pretty old hotel and pool but staff was very nice and efficient. Right in middle if town, ez walk to everything.

Whiskey creek was VERY good, the ribeye was delicious and the ahi was some of the best ive had. Ez walk from hotel. Pricey though

Not Bad in Bishop.
With advanced reservations I was well received and assigned a large two-bed suit! The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, courteous and professional when we checked in the evening of 7/15. The heavy set woman in the morning was not as friendly or professional on the morning of 7/16 and did not print out the statement for the final hotel charges. The room was nice and spacious and things were clean. The only drawback was that the pool was closed for cleaning and the jacuzzi was not heated. The breakfast was decent enough to start the morning on the road again. Overall my friend and I were pleased.

Long walk from hotel
Von Supermarket is a good walk from Comfort Inn and has everything you need at good prices. Don't forget your Safeway Card which is valid at Von's.

Uncomfort inn
The room was recently renovated and had a "new" paint or something that smelled bad. The bed was just about the worst hotel bed I've slept on, both my Wife and I agreed on that. One of the worst nights sleep at any hotel. We only stayed one night, or I would have had them move us. We won't stay at the Comfort Inn at Bishop on our next trip.

Great Hotel
The room was great, clean, etc. The only problem I found was that the bathtub backups up while taking a shower and the shower head really did not spray water the way I expected. However the minor inconvenience, is something I could live with considering the cost of the hotel room.
