Clean hotel in good BH location

I was there for work/pleasure. Hotel was walking distance to shopping for wife and on a safe quite street. Hotel was very clean but AC was very loud at night. For the price/location, it was very competitive although I got surprised by a $30/day parking charge in the hotel parking garage with significantly undersized spaces.

Pleasant but disappointing

While visiting friends and the LA County Art Museum, we spent one night at the Mosaic Hotel. It is a cute, boutique hotel located on a quiet street and close to the museum and major shopping centers in Beverly Hills. The public area and rooms are pleasantly decorated, and the staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the rooms is inadequate. We could hear people walking in the room above us as well as anyone going up and down the internal staircases. Moreover, the toilet in our room malfunctioned. The staff did relocate us quickly to another room. FYI, parking is available for #$30 a night. We would have liked to find a small and pleasant hotel for occasional visits to LA. Sadly, this one has fatal flaws.

Cozy Stay

We enjoyed the hotel and found it quiet, comfortable, and a nice personable staff. We were there to see family, eat, shop. Our only disappointment was that the room and bath were a little small.

Small Boutique Hotel, Good Service

A great little hotel for the money. Clean, stylish, with a good location in Beverly Hills. The rooms are tasteful, with comfortable beds and linens. We did think it a bit odd that it was on a permanent bed turn-down service--we never did see all of the decorative pillows on the bed, they were tucked to the side on the floor each day. The pool is small, but warm, and is a charming spot to sit and enjoy a drink--a courtyard more than a typical commercial pool area. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even printing our boarding passes for us before we had to depart for the airport. A courtesy car was offered to drive us to other areas, although we enjoyed walking. Would definitely return, and would recommend to others looking for a small, boutique hotel.

Nice clean, conveniently located hotel

The hotel was nice and clean. Though when we booked through [...] we asked for 2 beds because we had 2 kids with us. Upon arrival we were told that we only had 1 king because they ran out of the rooms with 2 beds. The front desk staff said that it was because we booked via [...], we are not guaranteed a certain room type. Valet parking is available but I found parking late on Saturday night (the day before Easter Sunday) across from the hotel. When I told the 2 gentlemen at the front desk that I had a legit street parking and I won't need to use valet. They strongly discouraged me and they said that I would get a parking ticket. The next day (Sunday) when I looked at the street sign I realized that I was lied to regarding the parking situation. I could have parked all night where I was when I arrived the night before. I don't think lying to your customers is a good way of doing business.
