It was about a three block walk to great shopping as well as numerous restaurants ranging from coffee shops to very fine dining.

A Stay Fit for Royalty
My husband and I spent a long-overdue vacation at L'Ermitage. I would return in a heartbeat. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. The staff were magnificent, always concerned for our comfort. The rooftop pool was lovely, and the food in the restaurant delicious. Access to downtown was fairly easy, also.

Highly Recommended!
The service was outstanding, rooms are amazing and huge! Fantastic attention to the smallest detail. I would favorably compare to my stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Perhaps not quite as 'happening', but also a bit less 'stuffy'. If you are not worried about rubbing shoulders with the stars, but still want to feel like one, stay here!

Excellent accompdations one serious flaw
We were unable to complete our planned stay due to an extremely uncomfortable and low to the floor bed. It was literally an extremely painful night as I have a bad hip condition. I was surprised to find this in a hotel of this quality.

Misleading
My reservation was botched. The hotel claimed that they upgraded my room to a room overlooking the parking lot. What a terrible experience. I faxed them the reservation that I had from cheap hotels they claimed that they did not receive my fax. spent an extensive amount of time with cheap hotels and the hotel correcting the reservation. I reserved a city view room, and what I had was a view of a tree. The front desk manager arrogance and lack of cooperation ruined my vacation. I plan to write to Raffles hotels themselves. I should receive a refund and credit.
