Never again.
You really do get what you pay for. We booked a room here because it was cheap, and really close to where we needed to be the next morning. Arrived in the evening and found it to be kind of a shady neighborhood. The office/front desk area had wonderful bulletproof glass between you and the grumpy Indian owners. The room wasn't bad, except for the mildew smell. It had a TV and fridge, but no coffee. The bathroom looked clean. The spot in front of the bathroom sank. As in, if I were to put my whole weight on it I might have fallen through to the first floor. They did provide nice large hand towels ... oh wait ... those are the bath towels. And they are paper thin. They did splurge on the toilet paper! I really didn't know you could buy 1-ply anywhere anymore ... sigh. And the coup de grĂ¢ce of our stay? They charged for ice. Never again.

good deal
I visit this hotel approximately once a month with my bf. The staff is not overly friendly but never rude either. The entire building is always very clean. It's located on a busy street but noise isn't too bad. The rooms are very cozy. I like the king size bed part. I was surprised to see each room has a mini fridge in it, not even motel 6 offers that. The rates are very affordable here for what you get. I've never had any issue on my visits. I would recommend it to anyone but be careful with kids flipping channels because i noticed some rooms have the playboy channel while others don't. The parking is good too.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
The 605 freeway is less than a mile away. It can take you to the 91 freeway, the 405 freeway, the 5 freeway and the 60. Also, there is a liquor store immediatley next door which is convenient!

The Worst Stay EVeR
I went to Bellflower for a music festival at the Los Angeles Collesium. When I first went to check in the desk clurk was very rude. Wanted to charge me more money for having guests in my room. Nobody there spoke english. Very unfriendly staff. They couldnt provide a phone book for a cab. She wanted to know everything I was doing. And when I asked for a corporate number she told me they didnt have one. It was the most unpleasent stay in my whole life. The room even had spiders. And i lost my room key and they couldnt provide a spare. So i had to go ask the manager to open the door every time i had to enter.

Unhappy traveler
They tried to rip us off.
We were just looking for a cheap place to sleep and cheap we found. First off the owner tried to convince us that we were not on his list of reservations and then when we produced out paperwork he started yelling at someone in the back room about letting us get the room for a discounted rate. He then tried to get us to give him a cash deposit, which we refused to do. The room was clean enough but the toilet paper was like sand paper and the towels were so thin I couldn't even dry my whole body. The bed was not the King sized in our reservation and was hard as a rock. There are many other cheap hotel chains out there, find a different one.

Caution: Adult TV Channel
Note that this hotel's TV lineup features a 24-hour hardcore (sex) movie channel. I don't know if its in all rooms, or if the front desk can block it to a room. Also, the floor under the carpet of my 2nd floor room was uneven, and it didn't seem like they recoded the cardkeys between guests (the room number was written on the card I got). Makes me think a significant portion of the clientele here may be in the sex trade (its in a poorer area)...
