not relay safe
I had a bad feeling in this Motel. It is on the Freeway, that's the reason, why it's noisy. And there were a lot of crazy people. The police drove two times around the motel. For me was it not relay save. I slept not relay good. But for the price is the Motel ok. Only the Wifi dosen't work....

Better than up the road
I really enjoyed swimming the pool was like most but there was not too many kids. I loved the fact that I was able to cook my own meals in the room, having a fridge and microwave was very good. What I liked most of all was the rooms did not smell. I normally stay up the road and I think it maybe worth driving further to visit my family to stay in a room that does not smell bad.

Short drive from hotel
There are places to eat within walking distance but why eat fast food if you don't have too. Love the Microwave and fridge in the room.

One night Stay
I was staying there with my boyfriend and it was his bday so we got a hotel so we'd have some place to crash at the end of the night. The hotel itself wasn't the best but it was fine for a night. Its right at the line of Oildale and Bakersfield so coarse you had the Oildalians walking around kind of creepy-like. Seemed to have a lot of random, suspicious teens/young adults wandering around. My boyfriend said a lot of them looked like druggys and were high. The good thing was that there was a sheriff riding around and a old security guard out walking around so I guess it kept trouble from happeneing.

In Hotel
Good for coming back to and sleeping. Or maybe just to stay in hotel all night. Wouldnt really go out around the area.

My boyfriend and I live on opposites ends of California and decided to meet halfway in Bakersfield to spend some time together. For what we paid (~36/night) it was worth it. The staff is pretty nice, the room is clean and the location is fairly quiet. Pretty standard but one of the better Motel 6's out there.

on my second day I had to go to the office and have them reset my door card so I could get in... even though I was registered for 2 days rather annoying

There are many great places to eat within walking distance. Hodels is a buffet restraunt the food was great. Milts coffee house serves great food as well Von's grocery store is within walking distance. and a few fast food joints

just needed a place to crash after a gig. luckily thats all I needed. felt priveledged to have some towels at least. was happy it was close to the gig.
