Very Scarry Place

I am really surprised that this site offers this hotel. The area is horrible as I had to be changed from one room because there was an very weird man with a dog (not a guest) standing right outside my door. Security guard walking around but not doing anything about it. Lots of strange people standing in front of the hotel with signs. So they moved me to another room. I am walking to my room at about 9:30 at night and 4 men came around the corner out of a dark walkway (again not guests) I was so scared. Got in my room and locked my door and then 2 guys were outside my door forever I would guess making some kind of drug deal or something., Never stay here again and I was so upset that I couldn't leave because I booked through travel site and nothing the hotel would do for me.

Non-Smoking

The Beds were very comfortable, but requested a non-smoking room and there were none available. Room smelled like an ash tray.

Bad Hotel

Lets see, the pool heater did not work, no hot tub, thermostat did not work, in fact it was not connected to the wall, telephone did not work, carpets ripped. All in all a dump.

good one nighter

The room was clean---which is the most important matter to us. It was a small room, but adequate for a quick over night stay while traveling.

Personal trip

The stay was pleasant, the staff was really friendly, and I know they would have gone above and beyond trying to make sure all their guests were completely satisfied, but I have been to other La Quinta hotels, and they look far more fancy than this one, both front door, and restroom door in the room I stayed got stuck every time I opened or closed it, the room could use more decor, make it look like a room at a person's house to feel that "home away from home" feeling, the room cleanliness was "ok", but I know some detailing could have been used.... I would go back to La Quinta, but maybe not the one I stayed at this time...great customer service...

For a motel it was nice

I just needed a place to stay for one night, and it met my needs perfectly. The most important thing was that I felt very safe staying there alone. It was quiet, and clean. The staff made sure that I was very well taken care of. The IHop, located in the motel's parking lot, was very convenient for a tired traveler. The rooms were comfortable and clean, albeit in need for a remodel (some minor chipped paint, and the carpet had some holes, but aside from that, it was in very good condition). I drove past several other hotels and motels and this one seemed to be the least crowded. (A frew hotels/motels had guests resorting to street parking due to a full parking lot at 2:00 PM!!) For just sleeping and hanging out for an evening, it was perfect. But if the intent is to hang-out in the hotel all day long for multiple days, then I wouldn't recommend it.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

Ask for a local guide at the front desk of your hotel or motel. There are many insider tips in there (true, it will also show a few tourist traps, but that it part of the fun).
