Wish I had this bed at home!!
I stayed here for one night with two HS seniors (during a tour of colleges throughout the State). The staff was friendly and they made sure I got a quiet room.. Of all the hotels we visited during the week, this one had the most comfortable beds. The pillows were even marked "firm" and "soft" just in case we couldn't tell the difference (!). I wish I could have strapped that mattress to the top of my car and brought it home. The hotel was well maintained and the room was spacious and attractive. It included a mini frig, microwave, desk, and table/chairs. The girls tried the workout room but came back after 10 minutes because it was so hot in that room (not sure why it wasn't air conditioned). The breakfast was OK overall (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, plus all the standard items) but there was no fruit and they ran out of yogurt (which would have been our preference). I will stay here again if I ever have reason to return to Bakersfield.

Short drive from hotel
The best part of the trip, aside a great night's sleep, was the fact that we were only a mile from a big mall with a Forever 21 anchor store, which is like Christmas in July if you are a 17 yo girl!

Stop on the way to Disneyland
We stopped here after driving from Auburn on our way to Disneyland. The hotel was clean and suited our overnight needs. The breakfast was really nice, great cinnamon rolls. We has to take care of some business in the morning, the hotel had everything we needed to get things done.

Good Hotel great staff
Hotel staff was very courteous, I was on a business trip and had to do a lot of work out of the hotel room and put the luggage carts through their paces. Not a glamorous place by any means but everything suited my needs for the mostpart, with exception of the "free breakfast" it is apparent the quality of the food throughout the chain (not just this one) has taken a nosedive likely to cut costs so I would not subjet yourself to even the coffee. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can get your morning coffee and a breakfast. I plan on being there again next year. Very good experience otherwise, internet was great, staff gave me printer paper with a smile when I ran out printing shipping labels, and was glad to take packages for outging mail, all because of that I was able to have a successful and fun trip.

Short drive from hotel
Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. I brought my GPS and looked ahead of time for the addresses online like for the post office, office supply or any stores I thought I might need. I got around easily and efficiently, especially for never traveling to Bakersfield before.

Okay place for a business sleep-over
The room smalls like it was a "smoking" one turned into a "non-smoking". It could use some new/clean carpet. There is a train track close by. You can hear the train whistle now and then... If you are a sound sleeper you may not hear it but it woke me up a couple of times! Other than that it was a good value for the price.

One night stay to attend anniversary party for long time friends. Booked room online. Checked in early with no problem. Room well decorated and comfortable. Beds were topped with memory foam which made for quality rest. Breakfast was added benefit. Nice variety and quality. Would definetely stay again and recommend to others.
