Worth every penny
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room is clean and breakfast is nice. The hotel has a resort feel with its large pool and jacuzzi.

Serves its Purpose
The inn is very convenient to local restaurants and high ways. The Holiday Inn is comparable to other local hotels and Inns in the area. Overall, it meets the basic needs and I would consider staying here again.

I'm not sure if I would stay again
This was a last minute stay, the front desk was very friendly and clean when we got to our room it was nice and clean, until I noticed when my kids were playing in the bed and the sheets were moved how dirty the mattress was. The next morning as my husband and son were walking by the bowling alley they noticed blood on the floor and the door window broken. The gym was also outdated and not clean. I'm really not sure if I would ever stay here again.

Celtic Music Festival
The staff were very nice. The room was outdated, but clean. There was no plug in the vanity area. The television had more static channels than clear. The beds were old and that was very visible, but were comfortable and clean. The layout of the hotel was a little confusing, there should be more signs or visible directions. There were plenty of food places nearby.

First time in Bakersfield
I traveled to Bakersfield on a business trip , this hotel was nice for what I paid . , I booked the room for one bed and for some reason when I checked in the computer pulled up 2 beds , the receptionist was nice and changed my room and gave me what I asked for . It was good service overall .

Noisy, hot, and won't return
Booked two rooms - one was okay; the other smelled of smoke (but it was a non-smoking room). The air conditioner didn't work properly either. When we asked to switch the rooms, the clerk said she wasn't surprised; "no one likes to stay in that room!"

Nice hotel for the price
Days Inn is a very nice, inexpensive place to stay. The staff was friendly and it was close to several different restaurants. The best thing was the pool. It was larger than an average size pool so you are able to swim without splashing everyone who is in the pool.

medical stay
our stay at day inn was nice mostly. our check in was quick, and [...]we were given a room to our satisfaction. the young lady behind the counter arecely was very sweet and helpful.the rooms are large and neat, although the floors could use a better cleaning, and plug ins were difficult. one of our beds was needing replaced, as it was very worn, but the other was fine. they had wireless internet which was very easy to access. the breakfast offered wasnt very large, but it was nice to have something offered. overall it was good stay for what we payed for. we will return
