Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center

Very. Clean and comfortable and good value close to major restaurants and entertainment locations. Room very relaxing and comfortable

We were in Bakersfield for a family function and just decided to stay at the Marriott because of it's location. It's downtown location is ideal.

I was only in Bako for a night. but i've stayed at marriotts before and i'll stay there again. this was everything i'd expect from a marriott. clean and comfy rooms, great staff, and convenience. the price for the night i was here actually beat out some of the other hotels so that was a plus too. although, if i had to pay more for the marriott, i would have.

We travelled to my son's sporting event. The staff was friendly and helpful even with a hotel full of kids. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and really satisfied the crew prior to heading off to the event. The beds were extremely comfy and the whole family slept wonderfully. We even took a quick dip in the pool and hot tub just to enjoy a couple minutes of relaxation in between sporting events.

Hotel was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable but the AC was loud whenever it turned on.

The hotel was very nice. We did have a problem with the heater, but as soon as they checked it out and found it could not be fixed, they sent someone up with new room keys and moved us. The restaurant was a little pricey, but overall the stay was nice and the staff extremely curtious.

Great great great. All was perfect, the room the breakfast everything.

The room was pretty clean, though there was a little black beetle in the bathroom (I think it was just one) Before taking a shower I discovered that I had a shampoo, two lotions and no conditioner. I checked around and found that I had no regular coffee, just two decafs. Staff was very nice about getting me both items. The bathtub drained very slowly and a few hairs not my own floated up from the drain - yuk - but rapidly opening and closing the plug seemed to mostly dislodge the clog. I spent a good deal of time in the gym - I've never used a hotel gym before so I don't have anything to compare it to. I tried all the ellipticals to find one that didn't squeak loudly, but was unsuccessful and just put up with it. The treadmill that the only other person present was using was making a big racket anyway. The room was neat and clean, and well stocked with towels. My room was right next to the third floor rooftop, with its view of the huge air conditioning units. This actually turned out to be a plus, as it provided white noise all night. When I turned on my own unit, though, it was loud enough that I decided I was already cool enough and shut it off. All the staff members I met were friendly and helpful. I meant to tell them about the bathtub drain at checkout, but I forgot, and I wasn't asked how my stay was.

the room we went to the bedspread was wet and the bathroom had not been cleaned and there was evidence nothing had been done. the telephones didn't work. we were eventually given another better roo . we own four marriott time shares so we weren't expecting this

Great helpful staff during my (2) day stay. Late check-in was quick. New, clean rooms w/ good space for a business traveler to work on computer. Great parking arrangement.
