Family spot
Not so great. Hallways are not clean. Mattresses were not great. Room was clean and bathroom was nice, but the walls are thin, and my husband and I got stuck between rooms given to families with small children. Free breakfast was a nice touch--but pretty ordinary fare. The best thing is that this is just next door to Buck Owens' Crystal Palace--which has fabulous dinners and great live entertainment.

Stop-over in Bakersfield
We wanted a lay over on a long road trip. This motel was more than adequate. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the free paper. Only negative was the free breakfast. They only had 1 choice for breakfast. Being a heart patient (or anyone who wants to eat healthy) the one selection was not very good. We opted out on it. Would have liked to just have had some fruit & been on our way.

Non BW breakfast
We go to Best Western's in part because of the buffet style breakfast. At this BW, there was no buffet, but rather 5 options in a cafe style restaurant. Take a lesson from McDonalds BW! We're going to look for a hotel chain with more consistency!

Not the best
This hotel is clearly old. You can't hear the staff on the other end when you call the front desk on the old phones in the rooms. There are little signs in the room that say to call if you need anything. I phoned for more towels but was told they were all in the wash. I was shocked. I also asked for more toiletries and was told to come pick them up. REALLY? Someone had spilled coffee grounds on the counter before our arrival and that mess was still there when we got to our room. Unsavory charters out drinking by the pool made me uncomfortable so we weren't able to enjoy that either.

A fantastc court yard at a very nice pri
I ahve stayed at many places over the year when I come to the NSRA show. The Best western has been the best place. The court yard is fantastic.The room were very comfortable. The resturant was ok to with a good food selection. I will never go any where else

Good Place to stay!
Nice Place to stay when you are on the road. The motel has a big pool and a nice garden around it, the breakfast ist really great and everyone is friendly. The rooms are very clean, even if the furiture is a little bit old yet. We will come back - if we are on a trip on this hwy again...

We were passing through town and needed a place to stay that was pet friendly. The hotel, rooms & staff were very nice; and fulfulled our need for a nice place to stay.

Only as a last resort
Room was satisfactory for a two night stay once I was settled in. The location is not very good if you like to walk around outside of the hotel. The pricing was low but I would probably pay the extra money and get an hotel in a better area next time. Hotel staff was professional and friendly.
