Made my trip that we were able to check in early!!! Was very worried i as going to be late to my bff's wedding but as soon as i arrived (which was 2 hrs before check in) we got to go into the room. The lady at the front was super hospitable and i walked away feeling better about how much my night cost me lol

Nice romantic weekend
Nice place great location just a few blocks from the beach. Room was on the 6th floor right next to the public sundeck it was awesome great view from the patio of the water. Room was clean and nice but furniture is a bit antique. Staff at the desk was super nice. They also allow you to store your bags there till you leave the island would definitely stay there again!

Definitely check our Cafe Metropole--great lunch cafe with fresh food! Also, make sure to go to CC Gallagher--amazing atmosphere and delicious desserts!

quick getaways
We had an awesome time. St. Lauren is a cute Victorian style hotel with an amazing view from the upstairs patio. Its an easy walk to all amenities. We would stay there again.

Nicely located, but noisy, accommodations
The staff welcome is reluctant, and the hotel is poorly insulated and very noisy. However, the location and view from the east-facing rooms is fantastic. The amenities are frugal but adequate, given the rates. The craftsman building is interesting and well-kept. I would stay here again if I'm able to find a discount rate.

Decent room at a decent price
We were looking to find a decent room in Catalina for a fair price and that's exactly what we got. If luxury is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. The hotel could definitely benefit from a remodel and update, but I guess that's part of it's charm too.

A noisy hotel
The room was too small, very heavy traffic area so very noisy. None of the vending machines worked. The staff while not exactly rude, were just not friendly. Overall, not a good value for the price we paid. Definitely would never stay there again, and would not recommend this hotel.
