Remodeled and Upgraded
Since the new owners have taken over, there has been a lot of cleaning up and fixing. I stayed for a four day week-end to fish and was impressed by how nice it was. I felt safe and secure at night and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Thanks for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

There are some GREAT beaches just to the North. Take some time and stroll along the surf and watch the sun setting. It is soooo relaxing.

Reasonable value

It was O.K.
Good location. Too much deodorizer trying to cover up the urine smell in the room. Needs plastic mattress covers, so if a child wets the bed, it doesn't go thru to the mattress. Other wise, O.K., the pool was fun for the kids.

Good Chinese Buffett & Greek restaurant at the shopping center accross the street. Also, pick up sandwiches for your day out at Ray's Market in the same shopping center.

Slighly Disappointing
The motel is obviously an older property that Comfort Inn has bought and redone to their standards. The room was very nice, except the toilet took two flushes, and [...] we got the room by the stairs so it was a bit noisy in that respect. But the room was spacious, clean, and nice. The breakfast eating area is where the fact that the place was not built as a Comfort Inn really showed. There were maybe 5 tables in the check-in lobby, and counter space that allowed for less of a food buffet than normal. If the place had been anywhere near full the situation would have been impossible.

The eating options nearby are weak. We went with the Roundtable Pizza for dinner and it was good. There is nothing at all fancy and no seafood nearby.

Very comfortable
The room was very nice and clean, had a refrigerator, microwave and good size TV. Very selective breakfast, alot to choose from. We were very well satisfied.

Very Nice!
Terrific accomodations. Arrived at 4. Since my reserved room was not ready they upgraded me to a suite at no additional cost. The front desk guy was very helpful--directed me to Mad River Beach, so I could see the ocean, and also helped when the heating seemed to temporarily turn off. Breakfast was nice, especially liked the waffle maker. Conveniently located to restaurants & other hotels (where my daughter was staying for honors band). Would highly recommend this hotel.

Quiet, clean and functional.
