I didn't expect much for a 2-star inn, but it was better than expected. it was busy time so it was a little slow to get help at the front desk but other things like good continental breakfast and large swimming pool made up for it. Location was
convenient for visiting the Redwood National Park and nearby scenic routes.
The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very convenient to the location for my doggie outdoor trips. Close to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed it very much.
The spa had a bit of dirt in it
so we did not use it, however.
It's a 2-star hotel. The bathroom floor was tiled in a color designed not to show dirt, but I know dirt when I see it. I just used the bathmat and kind of scooted around while I was barefoot. It's just a room, nothing special, nothing really
deal-breaking. Kind of expensive, I thought, but at my age I think that about everything. The Continental breakfast was kind of dismal. The rolls were stale and the coffee cups were small, but the coffee was good and the fruit was okay.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
There are lots of stores and shops around. I was just moving my daughter to college, so I just spent the night and hit the road early the next morning.
The hotel has everything you need: comfortable rooms, good wi-fi connection, a real breakfast with a lot of choices but more important an incredible staff, more than helpful.
Definitely I recommend this adress
Good size beds, I booked a Non-smoking room but our room smelled of smoke. It was the initial entrance and after a while I suppose we got used to it. Quiet place. The shampoo & conditioner bottles where made so that it was extremely hard to get
the product out - a bit annoying, best bring your own product. I rented the room just to sleep in and be safe and we felt both. I would stay here if I visit again.
