Friendly, vibrant family hotel in great Anaheim location
Located across the street from both Disneyland Resort and the Downtown Disney District, Tropicana Inn & Suites is a designated Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotel. Tropicana Inn & Suites is a lively, attractive, family-friendly hotel. The hotel features a friendly, accommodating staff as well as a variety of comfortable, affordable rooms and suites. Tropicana Inn & Suites is conveniently adjacent to the Pedestrian Walkway, where families can park their cars and walk to both theme parks.

Short Disney Area Trip

The location was perfect - we could walk anywhere that we wanted and see Disney fireworks from outside our door. Parking left a lot to be desired - we paid for parking but on 2 occasions there were no spots available. The complimentary breakfast was nothing exciting. The only things that were free were doughnuts, coffee, and juice. If you wanted cereal, milk, soda, water, or a bagel you had to come prepared with some cash. The pool and hot tub area were a nice way to end the day.

Just what we needed

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel near Disneyland and found it. We enjoyed the pool. We found the room clean and comfortable. This hotel is right across the street from the plaza between Disneyland and California Adventure.

Great place to stay

Was an amazing spot, so close to Disneyland. Everyone was great, only thing I would change at all is a little more option in the complimentary breakfast, but was a great stay.

Lots of good places for a quick bite. Fast food and most places open after the park closes.

Location is great , room is average

Location is as close as you can get to the entrance to the parks, which is great if your walking back and fourth to disney with kids.The hotel staff was all very friendly from the valet to the maids.The room itself was average, a little on the small side with enough room to have 1 stroller in there. Pool was good size and jacuzzi as well. Hotel has a small gift shop and deli which was nice. My only complaint is that the blinds dont close all the way and there are cars right in front of the window so id be nice to be able to close them all the way.

Best Disneyland hotel for the location and value!

We were really happy with our choice to stay at the Tropicana for our 3 day visit to Disneyland and California Adventures. This hotel is closer to the entrances of the two parks than Disney's own parking lot! The room was clean and looked updated. Although there wasn't alot of spare space in the room, especially with two parents and two kids, it was plenty of room for sleeping, bathing and dressing, which were the only things we needed it for because we spent our days in the parks. The pool looked nice, but we didn't have time for it. The continental breakfast was very sparse, but hey, it's free and if you want more, there are plenty of other options near-by. The parking lot spaces are well sized and easy to maneuver into. We would absolutely stay at the Tropicana again when visiting Disneyland and California Adventure!

Recommend

Had a nice stay. Staff was friendly and Barbara answered all my questions needed before arriving. Only negative was water in shower turned cold a few times. Location for Disneyland was excellent. We are planning on going down again soon. Will recommend to friends.

Great location, the only thing that was not so good was the complimentary breakfast. Very lacking! Other wise everything else good

Motel room for hotel price

Absolutely cramped room, exit to parking lot - also the only window opening into the parking lot, so we had to keep it closed most of the time. Itchy beds, lousy TV. No closet in the room, just a rack. Noisy refrigerator, not blocked by a compartment door as it should be. Complimentary breakfast is a joke, most things you need to pay extra buck or two for. One bedstand for four people. No gentle light for the night. Would be ok for a $50 motel. Horrible for a $150 stay with children hotel.

SPRING BREAK GETAWAY

Hotel was great expect getting charged $10.00 a night to park that wasn't disclosed when making reservations.
