Its good on a budget

The Good Points: - Location is within easy walking to the parking structure to catch the Tram to Downtown Disney - Rooms were overall good, but not great. But for the price, they are a good deal for families on a budget. - Beds were pretty comfy. - Continental breakfast, though not extensive, was still good, and the items were kept stocked throughout the morning. They also had longer hours than I've seen in other motels. - Location of the motel, eventhough at the intersectio of two major throughfares, was amazingly quiet. The Not So Good: - Rooms definitely need some cosmetic upgrades. Carpets are stained and dirty, and the doors did not close tightly. - Sleeper couches look and feel like they are from the 50's. - We didnt spend a whole lot of time in the room, but it still would have been nice to have a better selection of channels on the TV, and a better signal. Felt like we were watching on an old VHF set. Overall Evaluation: A good value for families with budgets.

Disney security allows a modest amount of water or sports drinks, some snacks and such, which can reduce overall food costs while in the parks.

Great for the price

Very close to Disneyland I think there no other hotel for this price, you can't expect much for a 2 star hotel or the price. Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms was clean and comfort, Bathroom clean but the it needs to be update. Hotel has a pool and jacuzzi nice. Only think I did not like was the parking they to small not much space and there some people don't care you know what I mean, when they open their door.

good

My kids were very excited with the stars on the ceiling at night. Amazing! 10 minuties walking the the Mickey paking lot, and there you can take free tram to Disneyland. I suspected the safty that we walk back at night 12 o'clock. Fortunatly, we didn't went back at that late time and found another family walk together. Staffs are very friendly, room is ok and breakfast is good starting from 6:30am. our room is juct facing Disney park and we saw the firework directly from our room.

Stars on the ceiling!

Not bad if you only need the room for sleeping & showering. Super close to Disneyland, but no shuttle. Hard walk with 2 little ones even with a stroller. Continental breakfast was lacking, but just enough to get us going. Highlight was the "stars" that show up on the ceiling after you activate the blacklight. We also were able to watch the Disneyland fireworks from the parking lot of the hotel & they also have a walkway you can view them from as well.

Make sure you map out your route to & from the park if you're walking. May be with paying for parking if you are planning on being there all day.

As close as you get, for the price

I had a better hotel experiences than expected. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, that staff was very friendly. We stayed two nights to visit Disneyland. It was about a 20 minute walk to get there from the hotel, which is definitely worth not paying $15/day for parking. The walk back was shorter since we did what was suggested in another post and took the one-way shortcut from the park, to the tram, and trough the Daisy parking lot. The hotel also let us leave our car there on check-in day before check-in time. They also let us keep the car there after the time we checked out on our last day. Great experience.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Take tram to parking garage, go up to Daisy floor, walk all the way down walkway to the back (directly north) stairs, walk down those stairs and trough the employee parking lot. Then you end up right on main street across from the hotel (cannot enter that way).
