Hotel Overview
Good location
Older, building needs some TLC. And parking is a bit scarce. But clean hotel overall.

Great for DLR Cast Members.
I stayed there in February because I had a DLR interview and couldn't be any happier with this place. It was no more than 10 minutes away from my destination, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, the only bad thing I can say about this hotel is the weird smell on the hallway along with the floor being a bit sticky due to moisture. That hall was a bit isolated and dark. But it made my stay interesting. Having to go from a great place and having to go through that hall and into another great place. From room to outside and back. I will stay there very soon.

Short walk from hotel
i would suggest walking to Downtown Disney for food or maybe ordering food to your room. Ask the front desk and they will give you tips on good places to order aside from the known places.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean but are old and need repairs. No heater and you have to pay for ice. The location was perfect easy on and off the main roads.

Best value for Disney employees
If you are going to be working for a few days at TDA or a nearby building this is the best-kept secret because it is very inexpensive although it is only blocks away from that part of the backstage area. This may be because most guests are attracted to the motels closer to the gate. The accommodations are simple and scaled-back but anything that's lacking (like an iron) can be requested at the front desk. Why would you need luxury if you're only spending the night there and working all day? Yes, being so close to work you're also practically next door to where we launch the fireworks but if you're back at your room early enough to hear the booms, think of them as the sound of success!

Price and location are the only virtues
The "non-smoking" room had had the smoke detector removed, and smoking had been done in the room. The TV remote was not functional. Nor was the alarm -- which I found out the hard way. The in-room coffee things were not replaced for the second day of my stay, and the general condition of how things were when I left and when I returned suggested that many things had not been cleaned. And of course, the major negative... the hot tub, as advertised, was not functional, and appeared not to be for some time. I wanted inexpensive, and I just got cheap. But in the end, I think a lot of the more expensive motels in the area are not much better. So, for a short walk from the motel to the gate (maybe 15 minutes door to door), I could have done worse. If you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head overnight, this will do. Just expect to get what you paid for, and nothing else.

Friendly staff and right next to Disneyland
Had everything I needed as a business traveler. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Location made me wish I could go to Disneyland the following day instead of work.

Short drive from hotel
This hotel charges 50 cents for ice and $1.00 for 12 oz cans of soda. The room is equipped with a mini-fridge. There are tons of small stores nearby that sell ice and drinks for less.
