Ramada Plaza Hotel Anaheim

In a nutshell: Fire Doors were blocked open in numerous locations. Phone in my room didn't work. Internet was slower than dialup because they share the wireless with another hotel. "Free" Breakfast was barely edible. Walls are thin so you can hear other guest very easily.

I stayed at the Ramada to attend an event at the Convention Center. Location is in perfect location and in walking distance, with a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotel appearance overall. My room had everything I expected, plus fridge and microwave. WiFi quality was pretty good, there could have been more outlets to charge things. The breakfast room is where business travelers clash with the Disney crowd. Food quality was disappointing with only few healthy options. There were things like a desk chair and the safe that didn't work but I didn't bother complain. Still annoying if you really want to use these items. Overall it was good value for the price, and I would come back.

Great location and best value for both Convention and Disney. Much better than another hotel we stayed at three years ago.

This hotel is just a couple of blocks away from the Anaheim convention center and the Disneyland resort. The room I got was clean, with large queen size beds, couch, and desk with chair. The bathroom was also very clean and roomy, with plenty of towels and a hair dryer. The room also included a small fridge which was just perfect to save some fruits and juices for lunch breaks. I really did like this hotel and I would recommended to anyone. I have stayed at some of the more pricier hotels and this hotel does not lack any of the amenities offered by those other venues. The only problem I had with this stay was the sound coming from the next room but this was not loud enough to keep me from a good night sleep. Overall this a great value for the area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada Plaza Hotel Anaheim for several days and nights. We were in Anaheim for the ACS Convention and opted to spend a day at Disneyland as well. Prior to booking this trip, I did my research and read the reviews for most of the hotels in the area. We wanted a nice place that was withing walking distance of the Convention Center and Disneyland. We got that and so much more with this hotel. The hotel was beautiful, and our room was spotless! Cleanliness is always the most important criteria for me, especially when choosing a hotel, and we were very impressed with our room! I would absolutely recommend the Ramada Plaza to anyone and everyone! Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was very accommodating, professional, friendly, and always smiling! The hotel's restaurant was not only convenient, but the complimentary breakfast was delicious! The hotlel had free wi-fi for those who brought laptops with them, and the lobby had computers for patrons who needed to check email, print boarding passes, etc.. For some reason, we were not able to access the internet with our IPod, but that was just a minor glitch and not a problem or a complaint. This hotel deserves a five-star rating. For certain, if we ever have the occasion to visit Anaheim in the future, we wouldn't stay anyplace other than the Ramada Plaza Anaheim. Relax, dine, have fun, enjoy!

I was an exhibitor at an EXPO at the convention center. The location was great, they accepted my deliveries prior to the show and helped me ship them out when it was over. Delightfully helpful and friendly staff. The bedding was first rate, not at all cheap, it had little throw blankets at the end of the bed, and lots of pillows. Soooo comfy and really wonderful! The Indian restaraunt in the hotel was delicious!

I selected this hotel as it was near downtown Disneyland and was convievent to meet with friends.

We searched all over the L.A. area for an affordable place that could accommodate a 5 person family. Most places require that you have two rooms if there are more than 4 in the party, but not the Ramada Plaza. With the pull-out couch their rooms easily sleep 6 and there is plenty of floor space, a fridge and a microwave. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, upkeep and decor. We did discover that our shower had no hot water. The manager immediately upgraded us and moved us and our stuff to a suite where everything was working. It really was close to Disney Land. It took us ten minutes to walk to the ticket booths. Anaheim is definitely the family oriented area in the L.A. region. We felt much safer and looked after here than anywhere else in L.A.
