It had a clean bed and clean bathroom. I don't look for much more than that when I travel.

Acceptable
The room was clean and included the most basic amenities. There was no iron or hairdryer, and only soap was provided. The location was convenient (right off of 91 just west of the 57) although a bit isolated. Besides the adjacent Denny's there is not much right nearby. On the upside, it was very quiet and only a short drive to various restaurants near Cal Fullerton, and only a ten-minute trip to the Anaheim Convention Center.

If you just need a place to sleep...
I was attending the NAMM convention in Anaheim. This location got me away from the traffic and congestion that such a large convention brings along with even more people visiting Disneyland, directly across the street. This is an OLD Motel 6 and desperately needs upgrading in every way. There is no excuse for towels that seem old and are thin and scratchy. There are only small bars of Ivory soap - no shampoo, so bring your own. The TV is still an old 14" tube type. The furniture is plywood and laminate. You get the idea. Avoid the Denny's next door at all costs (or any Denny's, for that matter).

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Old town Fullerton is a delight these days and a far cry from the run down area it was when I was in college there. It is now full of good restaurants, unique shops, and entertainment. If you like jazz and great food, go to Steamers on Commonwealth. They have great musicians, including Pancho Sanchez, Joey DeFrancesco and Jack Sheldon, plus big bands on Monday nights. Get the gumbo!

Motel 6 Review
The hotel was clean. The rooms were small. There were some guests drinking and smoking outside of their hotel, and security did nothing about it, which was very disappointing because it was 1 a.m.!

Short drive from hotel
This hotel is close to Disneyland, and competitevely priced. If you do not mind the small rooms, then you can save a lot of money!

Good Deal near CSU Fullerton
The organizers of a scientific conference at CSU Fullerton recommended an expensive hotel across the street from campus, but those of us on a shoestring all ended up at Motel 6 instead. The accomodations were surprisingly good for the price, and there were enough of us there from the conference to form a good collegial group for the evening, dinner and after. On the downside, the level of police activity might be disconcerting to some, but it didn't bother us - just a little real life entertainment.

One Night Stay
I had to switch from a 2nd floor room to a 1st floor room because the door wouldn't open. I was placed right next to housekeeping quarters! My room had received 2 calls first from a creepy sounding male and later a creepy sounding female asking, "Do you wanna talk?" After the male called, I didn't feel safe at all. I was kept up all night by the people staying upstairs. They were very loud; stomping around back and forth and moving things all night long. I didn't get any rest in the morning because of housekeeping's loud talk! Also, the toilet was leaking. Most importantly my friend was questioned by the police when all he was doing was smoking a cigarette in front of our room. He was rudely treated by the cops. They let him go. It would've been nice to have a microwave to heat up my food. There was one in the lobby, but I felt unsafe leaving my room after I got a weird room call. My previous trip at the same Motel 6 was a lot better, maybe because I stayed only one night. I am never coming back to this specific location again. Be safe and avoid the first floor. There's a lot of drug activity in the area and the cops are tough.

Great for wheelchairs
The room was good with a roll in shower for wheelchairs, but had no table in bathroom to put toiletries. I did not sleep well in a small bed, I'm 6' tall and need a Queen or King size bed. No table on the side of the bed to put a light on for when I have to transfer to a wheelchair during the night. The hotel has a good restaurant right next door.
